I had an awesome time. Gusto and his guys all have me a warm welcome. I am an MMA and BJJ enthusiast who had not been on the mat in ages. I had some fun rolls and was able to begin the process of eating back into things. I can't recommend BTT Charlotte enough for those who want a great atmosphere to learn and train. Obrigado irmao!!!

Great way to learn self defense, build discipline, and make lots of friends training! I couldn't have wished for a better location to start my jiu-jitsu hobby.

You will find world class teaching at this school from Professor Guto and an open door for students of all ages and from all levels of experience. It's a fun learning environment where you'll get a great workout and feel the dedication and camaraderie of a team. I highly recommend whether you're looking to continue your BJJ in CLT or brand new to the sport. Oss!

Best drop in experience I have had training while traveling. The guys are very welcoming and everyone was clearly training to get better without ego and trying to avoid any injuries. The instructor was very knowledgeable and welcoming as well. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.

I highly recommend BTT Clt no matter what your interest is! If you want to compete professionally, as a hobby, or even just want to learn self defense. Whatever your background or age, the team is welcoming and ready to help you advance in BJJ. Shout out to the head man, coach Guto! No better BJJ gym in Clt!

I have been training with Professor Guto and BTT of Charlotte for about six years and I can say without a doubt that this gym is not just a place to learn BJJ, but a community of brothers and sisters that are constantly pushing each other to be more skillful and technical in their practice.

I used to train here pre-Covid and it was the best BJJ gym I had ever trained at. I’m glad to say after returning to Charlotte in 2024 it is still the same experience at a new location. The instruction, atmosphere, cleanliness, and training partners are all top notch. I highly recommend training here if you are interested in BJJ, both gi and no-gi.

I’ve had the pleasure of training under Prof. Guto for many years now and it has been a great experience throughout. Though the school is a Jiu Jitsu focused environment, Prof. Guto has studied various martial arts forms and able to apply this knowledge to his teachings. Whether looking for a new competitive journey or improving your self-defense, BTT is the place to be.
