  Best drop in experience I have had training while traveling. The guys are very welcoming and everyone was clearly training to get better without ego and trying to avoid any injuries. The instructor was very knowledgeable and welcoming as well. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.

  You will find world class teaching at this school from Professor Guto and an open door for students of all ages and from all levels of experience. It's a fun learning environment where you'll get a great workout and feel the dedication and camaraderie of a team. I highly recommend whether you're looking to continue your BJJ in CLT or brand new to the sport. Oss!

  I’ve had the pleasure of training under Prof. Guto for many years now and it has been a great experience throughout. Though the school is a Jiu Jitsu focused environment, Prof. Guto has studied various martial arts forms and able to apply this knowledge to his teachings. Whether looking for a new competitive journey or improving your self-defense, BTT is the place to be.

  I used to train here pre-Covid and it was the best BJJ gym I had ever trained at. I’m glad to say after returning to Charlotte in 2024 it is still the same experience at a new location. The instruction, atmosphere, cleanliness, and training partners are all top notch. I highly recommend training here if you are interested in BJJ, both gi and no-gi.
