    I am a Naval Special Operations veteran in my early 50s that was seeking a new challenge in martial arts. I am drawn to BJJ due to the direct translation to self-defense and real life application as relates to self-discipline = reward. I recently attended the beginners, fundamentals class. The instructors and other students were welcoming and supportive. The class was challenging and fun. I highly recommend this academy to anyone seeking a mental, physical, fun environment to learn BJJ with real life carryover.
