  Just wanted to say it's never to late to start your bjj journey. At Soca, Professor Alan and Professor Don will get you where you want to be with their patient and structure courses for kids and adults. Best decision I've made to start my journey with Soca bjj.

  We enrolled our boys in jiu jitsu to help them build self-defense skills and develop discipline. Choosing this academy was one of the best decisions we’ve made—they’ve grown so much, both on and off the mat, and have formed incredible friendships along the way. The professors and coaches are not only professional but genuinely kind and supportive. We plan to stick around for as long as our kids are up for it—until they say, “no more,” we’re all in.

  We are so happy to have found this bjj academy here in Lemon Grove. Professor Arlan and the coaches are very welcoming, very patient with kids and very inspiring. We always enjoy watching our kids train. We appreciate everything. P.S. Ms. Marissa is also awesome! :)

  This is hands-down the best Jiu-Jitsu for families! They are incredibly patient with all of the kids and really good at easing them into training. And they are superb at making exercise enjoyable.

  This is the third dojo that I've visited, and it is by far one of the best! The instructors were very patient with me, and I felt like I learned a lot already after the first day 👌. Very humble environment. Will definitely recommend it to my friends and family or anyone who wants to start BJJ!

  It's hard to sum up the level of professionalism, skill, coaching, camaraderie, discipline, brother/sisterhood, and training that this place puts out on a daily basis. These guys know their stuff! These guys know their students! What I've witnessed first hand over the past few months is nothing short of amazing! Flat out! If there's any kind of proof, I think the fact that they went up to a tournament with a handful of new four to five month old students, and damn near all of them Place gold or silver. However, aside from the competition aspect, signing up or signing one of your loved ones up for this training, I guarantee will change their life for the better and for the future. Coming from another small business owner, its so hard finding a good team. SOCA BJJ TEAM IS ADMIRABLE AND SOLID!

  Was wanting to get my daughter, Olivia, involved in a BJJ program to help her learn self defense and help with her shyness. Prof. Arlan was very patient and understanding and didnt rush anything. Now she loves it and has made some friends along the way. Highly recommend for anyone interested in beginning or continuing their BJJ journey💪🏽
