I joined the team at BMB Academy when I was 14 and it is one of the best decisions you could make whatever age you are. Whether you just want to improve your fitness, learn how to defend yourself, or participate in competitions and win medals- BMB is the best gym in Norfolk. Baruc is a dedicated coach to all of his students.
BMB is the only place in Norfolk where as a complete beginner you have access to train live multiple championship winning black belts with decades of training from your first day.
It was my first time going to BJJ, Baruc made me feel accepted from the beginning, and the team were also very accepting of me and my beginner status. I had great fun and look forward to the next one!
From my experiences and from other students I spoke with this is the best JJ dojo you can find in Norwich. His system might feel overwhelming in the beginning but allow a few months and you'll understand that all this time you've been learning in a very fast pace without knowing it. Also great team, everyone I met there is nice, no egos. I can also recommend the kids' class.
