Welcome to the best TaeKwonDo School located in the heart of Port Washington, on Long Island, N.Y. We offer dynamic and fun martial arts classes for ages 3.5 to Adult. Come train in our clean and modern facility! No long term contracts!

Bluemoon isn't just a martial arts school, it's a family. They care about you on and off the mats. I've watched kids ranging from 3 years of age to college age grow in the sport/art as well as in confidence that they use at home and school. I'm proud to have my family be a part of this village that's helped us in so many ways.

My daughter loves the acrobatics classes here so much. She now goes twice a week because once just was not enough! Her confidence has grown so much. She loves her instructors and everything about Blue Moon. We could not be happier with our choice to send her.

What a super place!! Can speak for TaeKwonDo (6 year old) and acrobatics (10 year old) - great respectful teachers who can also have a laugh with the kids. Also fun workshops on school holidays.

We love Blue Moon! My 7 year old son has been taking Tae Kwon Do there for the last 4 years and has learned so much. They have helped my son make amazing progress in strengthening, balance & coordination -but most importantly they have helped build his confidence. They are all about respect and discipline and have been great partners in helping me to raise a great kid. Couldn't recommend them more!

We have been part of the Blue Moon family for over 6 years. The variety of classes offered is great, so as my kid’s interest in activities have changed, they are able to stay here. We love the acrobatics class since there is no good gymnastics option close by and Master Steven is an expert on form, so I’m not worried about my kids getting hurt. I, personally, love the kickboxing class! We are so glad to be a part of the Blue Moon Family!!

Blue Moon is a fantastic place. My son started there when he 5 after someone won a free trial for him. He had so much fun, and was enamored with the instructors so much, that he just had to continue. He's been attending for almost 3 years now! I love how they have various membership options - we only wanted to attend once a week on the weekend, and they had many options to choose from - which is great if you aren't able to commit to several times per week, like you need to at the other places in town. At Blue Moon my son has learned not just physical exercise but a whole way of being that encompasses respect and growth mindset. He is so proud of himself in his achievements and he practices on his own, all the time! All of the instructors are great role models but my son in particular loves Master Steve and Master Moon, who use humor in a way that he really connects to. Master Helen has also kept the studio running through all of COVID, offering virtual classes and staying ahead of safety with their policies.

The Blue Moon dojang is super clean and is owned by an amazing woman. The masters are incredible in their knowledge, and patience. The masters all embody "champions of life " and work tirelessly to imbue all of the students with the same. My child started as a white belt and has achieved first dan black belt. Considers the dojang and the masters and fellow students a second family. Loads of appreciation for Master Helen, Master Steven Master Moon and Master Mac

Blue Moon has been like a second home to both my girls (ages 5 & 8). I love the masters, instructors, environment & facility. Their TKD & acrobatics classes are always engaging and fun. Def glad to be apart of their TKD world!

My 10 and 8-yr-old daughters started Acrobatics at Blue Moon in Setember and what they’ve learned in just 6 months is astounding. And they love it and would be there every day if it was up to them! It’s been wonderful watching them gain skills and grow stronger and more confident with every class.

My husband and I frequently say that Blue Moon feels like family to us. My older son was the first in our family to become a student there a few years ago. We have since watched him blossom in his confidence, coordination, and passion for taekwondo. He loves the atmosphere and each of the masters so much that he recently started acrobatics there in addition to his twice a week taekwondo training. My younger son who always watched him in admiration couldn’t wait to get started last fall once he was old enough for the youngest class. At the same time, my husband with no prior taekwondo experience became a student as well in the adult class. Each of the masters are so warm and encouraging at all ages and skill levels and I cannot recommend Blue Moon highly enough.

I have seen such great improvement in her focus and her dedication to sport that I can only attribute to the solid support and teaching of the staff there. If she could go 7 days a week, she would!

We love Blue Moon! My daughter is in an acrobatics class there. She looks forward to class every week and is so happy after class. She has learned so much and feels confident and supported in class. The staff at Blue Moon is warm, welcoming, kind, and caring. The values of encouragement, strength, support, respect, empowerment, and kindness are clearly taught and embodied in their classes and the environment and vibe of the whole place. Blue Moon is the embodiment of what a martial arts school should be. It goes beyond just the skill of executing certain moves - they teach about respect, empowerment, confidence, and so much more. My son has only been going for a few months, but he is thriving. There seems to be an incredible community behind the school, and it's wonderful to be part of it. As a parent, I appreciate all the communication outreach that Master Helen does in order to be transparent with us. My son is incredibly proud of achievements there - and so am I!

I have been a student at blue moon since 2017. I was one of their first students in their black belt program and was able to successfully complete my black belt training. Master Helen and team always accommodated me, especially when I was pregnant with my third baby. They gave me modifications during our work out and I was able to continue even past my due date. I plan to continue to train at the studio.

If you are looking to put your kids in Tae Kwon Do, this is the place! I have 3 kids who attend classes at Blue Moon and I can't say enough good things about them. Each Instructor/Master is nicer than the next. Master Helen is always helpful and the classes are truly impactful. Each of my kids gets something different from their experiences here. The staff is so great at instilling confidence, teaching respect and making sure the kids have fun. They're the best!

My boys have been part of blue moon for a year now. It have been a great experience. The boys love going there and when class is over they are happy and cannot wait until the next week. Their training it’s not just physical they are training the kids for life, teaching values that transcend the dojang.

We have been with Blue Moon for about 6 years! This dojang is more than just Tae Kwon Do. These masters have helped my kids learn to persevere and face challenges with grace, while also helping to promote sportsmanship, kindness and respect. It has been a second family to us. Short version - 10/10. My first "adult" TKD training was in 2001, and I didn't find any real momentum until I started training at Blue Moon around 2016. The staff here have been absolutely instrumental to helping me achieve one of my major life goals, Black Belt. I'm now working towards my 2nd Don and I have enrolled my children in the program as well. I literally could not be happier with the staff, the dojang and the overall outcome. PS the place is SUPER clean. EDIT - I have no idea who is posting these one star reviews but my guess is it's a bot farm. I'm at the dojang like 3x a week and everyone has a good time. IF YOU'RE SPAMMING ONE STAR REVIEWS PLEASE STOP!

My son went to Blue Moon through his camp. Once camp was over, he asked me to sign him up for their Me Empowerment Summer Session. Helen was very welcoming, and my son had a fun filled week with his teachers. They did various activities along with improving his taekwondo skills. Definately recommend.

My brother and I have been taking fight fit kickboxing and we're really enjoying it. The kickboxing offers cardio work, flexibility, and great techniques. They always keep the place so clean. The instructor Steven is a great instructor, he really gets you moving!

I took an excellent Fight Fit Program here the other day. Staff are very friendly, facilities are fresh and clean, and the prices are very reasonable. I plan on taking many more different classes in the future here!

I love everything about Blue Moon Project. As soon as you walk in you can feel the positive energy! The classes are fantastic, you are always warmly welcomed and leave feeling invigorated. I'm looking forward to trying more classes and my son is loving the taekwondo program.

Love love love the relaxed, friendly, calm atmosphere of Blue Moon. Staff/instructors/owners are all so welcoming and energetic. There is something for all ages and degrees of activity. Absolutely love Raphael for Zumba.. Also check out the "beauty/spa" section.. Cannot wait to try every class !! The concept is true to their mission statement .

From the moment I stepped inside the beautifully renovated space I was mesmerized! The beauty of the space, the sounds of calming music and the smell of sage wafting through the air brought me to a peaceful state of mind. I was truly impressed with the demonstration classes. Tae Kwon do, Core strengthening, Meditation, Yoga and Zumba were well attended by both young and those keeping their youth! I am very impressed with what has been brought to Port Washington.

if you want fun, maybe, but if you want to learn, maybe not. They don't register your junior black belt to kukiwon, the international tkd in korea, and yet you pay 100s for each test. Hardcore training is not there, and a black belt costs so much. If you want just play, maybe, but training is a far no.

I came here to educate my children on the basics on learning Karate.. when I took my 5 and 8 year old to the bathroom we opened the door and saw a naked oiled up sumo wrestler pleasing 5 different women, do not recommend since now my children have been trying the same thing on me.
