    We just finished our week long free trial in which my 5 & 6 year old both went to 3 classes. They love this dojo and the instructor! They have fun and learn self defense. Sensei Ricardo is awesome with the kids and has a great sense of humor while maintaining a seriousness for the art of Jiu-jitsu & MMA. Kids have chosen this as their favourite trial and will become members asap. Its also a great price. I might even try a trial week for myself! 5 stars. I highly recommend.

    Riccardo is a genuinely great teacher. He's got the right balance of discipline, support, and intensity that children need to do something as challenging as BJJ. His professional credentials are world-class, and he's got an interesting life story, too. I enthusiastically recommend you try out his classes if you have a young kid.

    The instructor is extremely knowledgeable and attentive, and the class sizes are small, so the environment is excellent if you are new or want to refine your technique. I've trained before at a few big gyms and can really feel the difference.

    My daughter Fiona is small and very shy. I decided to try this out and was absolutely blown away by how much she loved it. Absolutely made my day. Instructor is awesome and is very good with the kids. We just signed up for a month!

    My kiddo is 3 and has been training at BJJ Battalion for about a month now. She is already picking up a lot of what is being taught and has such pride that she is able to do what her dad can (he also trains here). Coach Riccardo is so knowledgeable, great with the kids and so so patient. We are so grateful to have such an awesome dojo so close by! Highly recommend!
