    The gym is very clean and bright, and easily accessible from the Islington S exit. There are plenty of parking spots in the surrounding area. There are some experienced students that will help you, making the classes very beginner friendly. The kids have a blast too and look forward to the “jiujitsu days”. The co-founder and coach Jorge Britto is one of the biggest promoters of Brazilian jiujitsu in Canada. He runs the Jiujitsu for life team, organizes a circuit of tournaments all over Canada called NextGen, and leads the organization of international tournaments like Abu Dhabi Professional jiujitsu championship and International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation when they come to Canada. I have learned so much more than jiujitsu from Jorge Britto and he’s one of those people you want in your life, if you want to learn a fun martial art with values that translate into real life, you can learn from the best at Etobicoke BJJ.

    Beautiful, clean environment with ample seating for anyone who wants to watch a class. Great, firm but friendly, encouraging, and approachable leaders, and staff. Family friendly environment. My son went to another gym previously but his confidence has skyrocketed since joining Etobicoke BJJ. It's a fun, positive, focused place that has helped his technique and now had him practicing at home too! I never have to remind my son about classes anymore. Best change we've ever made!
