Enrolled my 12 year old son 3 days ago. Everyone was friendly and very welcoming. He looks older then 12 so it was suggested that he participate (if willing) in the adult classes and he did. He felt so comfortable and enjoyed himself and the vibe. He's enrolled in both adult and kids Jujitsu classes, and is always eager to return the next day. Everyone was cool and not only the instructors but other members were willing to educate him. Staff is great! Good place, no complaints. No regrets!!
I highly recommend it. My children, ages 5 and 12, have just started. It hasn’t been long, but they’re picking it up very easily. Their self-confidence has improved. The instructors are professional, and my children really like them. I’m very satisfied. The price is also very reasonable. I highly recommend it.
Great gym, even better people. Gym is giant with plenty of room for wrestling, coaches are all very knowledgeable and helpful. Everybody in the gym is incredibly friendly. Gym even has workout equipment to use after class. Do yourself a favour if you're in the area and drop in for a class, you won't regret it.
Great facility. Clean. Chill. Big. Lots of good skills here. Everyone is so friendly. You will learn something every time you go on the mat. The change rooms are clean. The water fountain is clean. Drinks for sale when needed. Store for your martial arts needs. Membership and merchandise all at a great price.
This is the first review I’ve ever written, but I felt it was necessary. I joined this gym on a trial after hearing countless people praise its instructors, its programs, and its reputation as a “superstar” facility. Unfortunately, what I experienced was the complete opposite of what was advertised. From the moment I stepped into the morning class, I became genuinely concerned. I witnessed women getting hit in the face by grown men during what was supposed to be a controlled Muay Thai class. Even worse, I overheard members casually talking about how they could rape women at the gym whenever they wanted. I’m not using that word lightly. They weren’t talking about rough sparring or martial-arts banter — they were literally making comments about sexual violence. This alone should be enough to shut a gym down. The environment is far from healthy or safe for anyone trying to learn martial arts — especially women and kids. What shocked me even more was the complete lack of professionalism from the instructors. When issues were brought to them, they laughed things off or made jokes. Instead of maintaining a clear instructor–student relationship, they behaved like they were just hanging out with their buddies. It felt less like a structured training facility and more like a group of friends messing around and showing off. I don’t know the exact qualifications of some of these instructors, but being a competitor at some point in life does not automatically make someone a capable teacher. The attitude in this gym shows that clearly. There is little structure, little accountability, and almost no visible leadership. For a place that is supposedly “the gold standard,” I was shocked by how unprofessional, unsafe, and concerning the environment truly was. I genuinely feel bad for any kid or woman who comes here wanting to learn — because this is not the place to do it. Based on what I witnessed during my short time here, I cannot recommend this gym to anyone.
