I attended a drumming fitness class here with a friend and we had so much fun. I am going to sign up for some fitness classes for sure. Yes, there is more to be offered even if, like me, you’re not into the martial arts. A great cardio experience in a fun atmosphere.

Mrs. Chong always teaches with kindness, patience, and respect. She is flexible and accommodating with the method of teaching. My whole family (5 year old, an autistic preteen with low tone, a kiddo with severe ADHD, and also 2 out of shape millennials) learned so very much during our time with her. We grew stronger, healthier, and more confident as a family. She is a wealth of knowledge. I am so grateful for the time I had with her as our teacher.

Mrs Chong is an amazing instructor. Over the years she has taught both my oldest child and myself, and her skill in adaptating her instruction to individual needs is unmatched! I absolutely recommend Axon Martial Arts for any child or adult (even if like me, you have very little athletic ability!)

Mrs. Chong is an amazing Taekwondo instructor. She teaches the art in a fun and mindful way, concentrating on the techniques so they became a natural part of you, and by empowering you with self defense skills.

I enjoy the woman class. It helps me to get motivated & off the couch. My favorite thing is combat sparring, great cardio workout without being boring. Sometimes we do events were non members get to participate in the events & with proper instructions

My friends and I recently took Axon's self-defense course, and it was an incredible experience! I don't think there is any other course like it out there. Our instructor, Yat-Yee, put a lot of effort into ensuring that the course was both enjoyable and informative. The course was six weeks long, with 40-minute sessions, which gave us enough time to practice and understand the concepts. The final day of the course was a lot of fun! Yat-Yee and Linda came up with an innovative way to assess our progress by having our spouses "attack" us. We all had a great time and learned a lot. I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning self-defense. Thank you, Yat-Yee, for an amazing experience!

Mrs. Chong has created a welcoming studio for all ages. Watching my 5 year old daughter become more focus and confident along with seeing her build friendships is a highlight of my week. The encouragement and support that Mrs. Chong gives along with the other classmates is fantastic.

Everyone at Axon is great to be around. We work hard to improve without judgment of one's limitations. I have learned so much in the last year and, even though I was working with an injury, I was always encouraged to improve without injuring myself farther. It's a great community to be a part of!

Mrs. Chong has been an amazing instructor for my daughter. She has learned so much during the pandemic through Zoom. Mrs. Chong has amazing energy, enthusiasm, and is a great communicator! And it is a great value. I highly recommend Axon Martial Arts!

My daughters (currently 5 and 9 years old) started taking taekwondo lessons over a year ago. It wasn’t long before I was encouraged to join class and I am so glad I did! It has become a fun mother and daughters activity! Our instructor, Mrs. Chong, teaches more than “just taekwondo”. We learn life lessons, such as “Progress over perfection”. We have also learned self defense maneuvers, which eases my mind a little bit as a parent of young children. We celebrate and encourage one another’s progress. We have made some great friends which makes class fun. Mrs. Chong is caring, encouraging, and patient, which shows in the wonderful community she has created within Axon Martial Arts Academy.

My daughter has been attending Axon Martial Arts for Taekwondo training for almost a year and she absolutely loves it. Her instructor, Yat-Yee, is very caring, patient, and fun. One thing that I love about this martial arts school is that all of the students are super supportive of each other regardless of age. I also really enjoyed the self defense class that I attended here. My daughters and I really got alot out of it!

My daughter and I have been taking Taekwondo lesson from Axon Martial Arts Academy for three years. It’s a family class and we learn Taekwondo, but also have fun. This is a great way to get some exercise and learn how to defend yourself. Come join, get to know yourself spiritually and physically and most of all, enjoy the experience.

If you are looking for a great workout that is a lot of fun, then this is the place for you. Our instructor, Yat Yee Chong is very encouraging and has a come as you are attitude. She is dedicated to providing individual attention designed for progress, not mastery. This allows everyone to feel comfortable no matter your skill level. She offers kids, family, and women only classes. I am in the women only class and it is the best martial arts class I have ever had in my life. I highly recommend Axon Martial Arts Academy for anyone who as ever wanted to try out martial arts!

Mrs. Chong is one of those few people you meet in life that genuinely cares about everyone and leads through love. She is highly motivated to be a very positive influence in your child’s life. She goes above and beyond just teaching taekwondo skills and she tailors her teaching method to each child. I am so thankful to have Mrs. Chong as a positive role model in my son’s life.

Mrs. Yat Yee truly cares about her students and their families. She knows that martial arts are usually more than just a class but a way to teach discipline and focus. She adds in a lesson every cycle about a character trait for the 4-5 year olds to understand and internalize. Class is helping my ADHD son overcome his challenges so he can apply himself to other areas of his life. I'm very thankful for Mrs. Yat Yee and the young man my child is becoming because of her class.
