I have two children attending this martial arts centre, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. The instructors are brilliant—patient, encouraging, and dedicated to helping every child reach their potential. The atmosphere is welcoming and supportive, and I’ve seen a real boost in both our children’s confidence and discipline. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great martial arts club.

Atomic Black Belt Academy is a great place to train your child up. It has an amazing community full of supportive students, parents and instructors. I have been training here for most of my life as this place has really grown my confidence and passion for martial arts. The instructors really care about the students growth and install firm discipline into the children too. I cannot recommend the academy enough.
I enrolled my daughter as she was getting bullied at school by a boy. When she came and told me I vowed no one’s dusty son was ever going to be able to come for my child again, and she started that very Saturday. Her confidence has soared and I’ve noticed an increase in her stamina and strength too. The classes are structured well, with a good mix of teaching, humour and a few life lessons thrown in. A bit old skool too but I like that. Highly recommend, only regret is I didn’t start her earlier.
I can’t recommend Atomic Black Belt Academy highly enough. I trained here for over a decade, and it was such a huge and positive part of my life. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely care about every student’s progress, whether you’re there to build confidence, improve fitness, or work towards becoming a black belt. The atmosphere is always welcoming and supportive. It really feels like a community rather than just a martial arts club. I made lasting friendships, learned valuable life skills like discipline, resilience, and respect, and gained so much confidence over the years. The academy goes above and beyond to help every student reach their potential, no matter their age or ability. If you’re considering starting martial arts, I would absolutely recommend Atomic Black Belt Academy. It’s an amazing place to grow, both physically and mentally, and I’m very grateful for everything I learned there.
I can confidently say that Atomic Blackbelt Academy has been a fantastic experience for our family. My daughter has been attending for the past few months and she has absolutely loved every session. The Senseis are highly experienced, and each training session has been both valuable and enjoyable. The classes and grading sessions are exceptionally well-organised, and the atmosphere is always welcoming and friendly. The instructors are excellent at giving each student the attention and guidance they need, no matter their level. Overall, Atomic Blackbelt Academy is a great academy for all ages and abilities. My daughter has grown in confidence and skill, and we look forward to continuing her martial arts journey here in years to come.
Fantastic training and expert knowledge at Atomic BBA. Sensei Mark and his team are genuine experts in their field, whose priority is to share their passion for martial arts with both children and adults rather than to make money. My husband and I both attended the adult class and despite extremely busy lives, achieved our black belts due in no small part to the dedication of Sensei Mark and Sensei John. Our youngest son is now working towards his black belt whilst also training there in MMA. We have seen him (and ourselves!) grow in confidence and determination, as well as achieving more than we thought possible.
Posted 1 year agoMy son has been going to Atomic Black Belt Academy since he was 3 - 4 and he is 14 now. He loves going there , standards have always been very high, All the teaches are great and they put a lot of hardwork into kids. I would reccomend Atomic to anyone wanting their children to gain a life long skill , respect and self defence. Rucky.
Posted 1 year agoExcellent learning experience for children from a very young age such as 4 years and continue as they progress through Black belt and various different levels. We sent both our children here and it taught them multiple life skills and values such as discipline, confidence, teamwork , time management,resilience and physically fit. Sensai Mark and the team are very passionate about their teaching. Highly recommended!!
Posted 1 year agoMy daughter is 8 years old and started going to the academy from last 5 months, the instructors teaching methods are very good. The master sensei running the academy is very professional. with such short period of time learning karate my daughter is already feeling confident and she herself is very excited go to the karate class. Would highly recommend the atomic black belt academy for anyone interested to learn martial arts.
Posted 1 year agoWe have been training here for a bit less than a year, it's a wonderful place where the focus is on respect and instilling values into the kids. My son is really enjoying his time here.
