Best gym in the area for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu! Safe, clean and professional! You’ll be well taken care of!
Great teachers! They're firm but know how to communicate with children effectively. So glad my children joined their classes.
Posted 1 year agoI loved training here during my White Collar Fighter 8-week boxing program! Devon and Gary are very knowledgeable, extremely professional in their coaching style and always put safety first. Not to mention, they are just lovely caring guys with great senses of humour which was an added bonus! The one-to-one training sessions were also well worth the extra cost, I learnt so much about how to improve my technique from this. I found them to be very supportive right from the beginning. During my fight last week (which I won) Devon was there in my corner cheering me on, giving me tips, feeding me much needed water and wiping sweat off me - such was his unwavering dedication! I could not have done it without his support. These guys are 110% committed to seeing you succeed - they make you work hard but it's worth it in the end - I'm the fittest I've been in a long time. Nat was always very welcoming and supportive too and always made sure the program ran smoothly. Thanks again for an amazing experience, and see you soon!
I applied for white collar fighter program as I had 8 weeks training with Devon and Gary. I enjoyed every minutes with them. They are so professional, I liked to work with them. End of the 8 weeks training I had 3rd of July a charity boxing match what I won. Gary was beside me to support. All member of the gym was so helpful, especially Natalie. I can highly recommend to everyone. I am coming back to challenge myself again.
I have just finished my training for White Collar Fighter and this place is incredible. As a martial arts dojo and training centre you would be hard pushed to find anywhere better. Then you take into account the staff and coaches and you realise you won’t get better training anywhere else! Dev and Gary were the coaches for the boxing training and they were phenomenal. So motivating, inspiring and incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of combat sports! If you are looking for a place to train then get yourself here and push yourself further than you ever thought possible.
I was training in WOSW two years ago doing brazilian jiu jitsu with coach Rich. Rich was a really good coach and I enjoyed the sessions with him. However, in this review I do not want to talk about the coaching aspect of the gym but rather the atrocious treatment I received from the other head coach Devon Dunkley. I never trained with Devon, but unfortunately he is responsible for the finances in the gym. Every year the gym charges an extra 40£ for health insurance, but Devon kept charging me the same amount even after two years later i left the gym. I tried messaging and calling him numerous times. In the beggining Devon tried putting the blame on me for not saying that I left (which I obviously did to my coach Rich). Later after providing him with text proof that I did actually said I was leaving the gym he resorted to ignoring my texts and not picking up my calls. To this day Devon still owes me 80£ pounds. I have nothing to say about Devon's capabilities as a coach, but I think his stance against me shows a lack of ethical qualities which in my opinion are equally important for martial arts coaches, as they do not only teach you self defense, but also a way of thinking. My question would be: Would I want such a individual training me or my child? My answer would be a resounding NO.
