Cannot recommend this gym highly enough. My 8 year old daughter has been training here in Jujitsu and and Muay Thai Boxing for just under. Year and my four year old son approximately 3 months . My daughters first day there, she was too nervous to even step onto the mats, roll on 12 months she has competed in 3 national tournaments and won two silvers and most recently a gold at the British Grand Prix! Her confidence now beams and our son is following his sister's excitement for training at the gym. The coaches are all so passionate about their sport and their enthusiasm and commitment is definitely contagious amongst the children. Classes are structure but fun and children leave each class feeling like they have accomplished something new. Definitely one of, if not the best children's martial arts academies you will find‼️

Posted 1 year agoI recently signed my young son Daniel up for the Lions Gym around three weeks ago. The progress he has made in such a short time is mind blowing. James Dixon is an incredible trainer. He’s great with the kids whilst commanding their respect and attention at the same time. And most importantly my son is loving these classes!
Posted 1 year agoI highly recommend this fitness gym! The great coaches and knowledgeable instructors have truly elevated my workout experience. Their expertise and guidance ensure effective and efficient workouts. Whether you're a beginner or advanced, you'll feel supported and motivated to reach your fitness goals.
Posted 2 years agoReally enjoyed the class, good set of combinations demonstrated and individual help on hand when needed. I like the fact that the combinations are based not just hitting pads at full force, but by making light contact with your partner, moving and countering, so you are really learning something that will help you become a better martial artist. Session finished with some heavy bag work and fitness, so the lesson was well balanced and practical. What is rare to find these days with Lions Gym is that you can do the week's free trial, then just sign up, no joining fee or insurance costs to pay, just pay the monthly direct debit which is 30 day rolling contract, this makes it really easy to try the club out over a period of time to make sure it's right for you. A lot of clubs offer only 1 or 2 lessons for free then will ask for a joining fee + insurance + monthly training fee upfront to get started, which is hard to justify after such a short period. So I recommend giving Lions ago.
