Our 2 boys (6 and 14) have been attending AmeriKicks in Lenexa since August of 2024. We have seen a huge change in both of them to include increased attention, balance, discipline, and focus. This past Saturday our 6 year old had his birthday party here and we couldn't be more than pleased. Sensei Travis and Sensei David aren't only great martial arts instructors, but were great at entertaining a large group of 5-7 year olds and keeping them focused during the party. If you are looking for a place that welcomes your kids, family, friends, etc. this place does it all. Thanks so much for being a place that has welcomed our family and being such an amazing home away from home.

The staff at AmeriKick at Lenexa is very knowledgeable, patient, encouraging and friendly. My two girls absolutely love this program! They have learned so much in the time we’ve been here and I’m so grateful for the confidence they’ve gained. Every sensei makes sure they feel empowered to succeed and believe in themselves. They left the in school tournament saying how proud they were of what they’ve accomplished.

Our daughter loves it here and we have been impressed with the Senseis. We like the flexibility offered with the multiple class options and we all look forward to the holiday parties.
Thus is a really nice karate school, my daughter has been with them over 3 years, the things we like about the school, The facility is at a convenient location, and roomy, clean The curriculum, she learn something here every time, and all the tournament opportunities all year long The flexible schedule, she is in high school now, a lot of things going on even after school, she can pick what days she is available and also just make up for the missing ones later.
Our son has lots of energy and needed a productive way to utilize his energy and build confidence. He’s been able to do this at Amerikick in Lenexa and we are grateful. The Sensai’s are so attentive and caring and truly seem to enjoy their job. Highly recommended!!
I was looking for a new hobby for my son and gave Karate a try. My son is on the autism spectrum and understanding and following instructions is a challenge. I have seen a lot of progress in his skills, coordination, confidence, and strength these 4 months. Is heartwarming to see him telling his friends, family, and teachers all about his classes and showing off his new moves. Attending classes is the highlight of his day. The staff is amazing and connects very well with the kids.
I can’t speak highly enough about Sensei Mason, Sensei Travis and all of the Amerikick staff we encounter in this program. Our 4 year old son is having a ball in karate! We put him in soccer last year and it was a bad experience. The program was super expensive but lacked organization and truly trained coaches. Our son struggled and it was overall just not great. So we wondered if organized sports was just too early for him. However, I am so glad we took advantage of the the Facebook ad for a trial with Amerikick! Our son simply can’t wait to get to class every week and oh my gosh does he think the world of Sensei Mason! As a dance educator in both instruction and coaching for the last almost 25 years, I am highly trained on classroom management especially for the younger age group. And while of course the subject matter is different, I have very specific expectations of the kinds of instruction environments I want my son in - Amerikick takes the exact type of approach, tone and management that I believe in. So very fun to watch in motion. In just a few short months since starting here, we’ve seen extraordinary growth in his listening skills, focus, self-confidence and emotional self-regulation. His school teachers have also noticed the growth. The synergy of growth spurred across all aspects of his life even outside of karate is so special. Amerikick staff, THANK YOU for all you do and for being such an extraordinary example for my sensitive, creative little boy!

My 2 sons have been going here for about a month now and absolutely love it! My youngest has grown his confidence so much, which was one of the biggest reasons we wanted to get him started. My oldest has been developing a lot of self discipline to keep trying even though something may be difficult for him. I love how the instructors work together to make sure each student is getting what they need to improve. Thanks Amerikick!
We enrolled my son in the Tiny Tigers class 6 months ago, twice a week, and continue to go still. As an only child, we wanted to make sure he was getting the socialization he needs, as well as introduce him to organized activity and how to play safely with other kids. The change in him has been night and day. He started out shy, unsure of what to do, and a little bit unruly; but now he's so much more confident and truly enjoys the classes. All of the senseis, but especially Mason who is the lead, are amazing. They're very comfortable working with the kids, are incredibly understanding, know how to keep the kids attention, when to be stern, all while keeping the class fun. There's a great mix of discipline and laughter; and my son leaves proud of what he's accomplished in class.
Amerikick is one of a kind! Both our boys absolutely love Sensei Mason and Sensei Travis. We instantly felt like family when starting here. Both our sons have ADHD, but gave been so positive about taking classes here because of how kind, caring, and patient the staff is. We highly recommend Amerikick Lenexa for all ages and abilities!
I love doing karate at amerikick. The sensei's are so understanding and kind. They always find a way to make the class fun. I love karate now and it's also a good way to exercise in a fun way.
We have been so happy with our experience at AmeriKick! We were looking for a positive way to channel our 3 year old’s high energy and it has turned in to so much more. Sensei Mason and Sensei Travis do such a great job having fun with the kids (and they are both so patient!) while also teaching them skills such as teamwork, focus, discipline, confidence, respect and to work hard. Not only have I seen my son’s skills improve at karate but also outside of class! From a business standpoint, I really appreciate the communication from staff and the flexibility with class times. We love bringing our son, who has autism, here. They are very inclusive and meet the kids where they are at. All of the instructors are so positive and it is a great way for our son to get some social interaction and exercise while also learning about martial arts!

From the day my son and our family met Sinsay Mason, it was a true fit. My son is very bashful and doesn't take to very many. He actually wanted to stay with Sinsay and didn't care if I left or not. We knew we had to sign up 100%. We have been doing this for almost a year now and Sebastian has grown to love both Sinsays. They are truly a blessing. 🥰

We have had THE BEST experience at Amerikick Lenexa! Sensei Mason and Sensei Travis are so good with the kids and they keep it fun, but challenging. My 10-year-old loves it so much she just convinced my 5-year-old to join as well. They both come home satisfied and tired after a great class and workout.
Our son has been going to Amerikick at least twice a week for over a year. We signed him up for the free month and then never stopped. He loves it. We love it. From month to month, he has grown remarkably. He has learned focus, discipline, teamwork, respect, and self-improvement skills. Sensei Mason and Sensei Travis give these kids 100% every class, even when things start going completely sideways. These experienced Sensei can re-engage and bring the class back to the lesson at hand. It is truly enjoyable to watch them work. They are masters at engaging the kids in fun and hard work simultaneously. I even got a little jealous of the fun they were having, and now I am doing the adult classes. It's a great way to bond with my son, stay in shape, and shake off the work week. In addition to Karate, Amerikick puts on a number of fun and FREE activities for the whole family. They are building a solid community and strong individuals. I am excited to see what's next and wish this place all the success in the world.

We started our oldest daughter at AmeriKick when she was 5 and loved the program so much we’ve now enrolled our two younger girls as well! The senseis are wonderful - patient, instructive, and make every class fun. Our girls have improved their confidence, discipline, and leadership, and look forward to each class!
Senseis Mason and Travis have patience. Working with the kids and how they handle each situation that is presented to them seems as no obstacle. Our girls have been thriving from the lessons they receive each week. Instilling discipline, teaching teamwork and fitness, are just a few things Amerikick has helped to reinforce. Thank you!

Not only are Sensei Mason and Sensei Travis knowledgeable and talented, they are great instructors. They are great with kids of all levels (their patience with the young kids is incredible). They are able to connect with the students, making classes a place for fun, while also teaching them discipline and focus. We can’t say enough about how much our boys have grown since joining!
The Team at AmeriKick in Lenexa is world class. Their curriculum is great, but it is the people that make this location so special. Mason and Travis are incredible instructors, but more importantly, roll models and leaders for the kids - no matter the skill level. We are so blessed to be a small part of the community they have built.

AmeriKick is an incredible place! Our son has been taking lessons over the past few months and we have seen his confidence grow! Not only do they offer superior martial arts training for all ages, their compassionate and attentive instructors and staff care deeply about each students growth and overall well-being. I highly recommend enrolling your child/children, as this is a one-of-a-kind studio!
I cannot recommend this enough! Our three year old son was consistently having listening problems at preschool and we wanted something that he would enjoy but also help with listening and respecting others. Sensei Mason is incredible with the little ones! We love the classes and the principles they work on. We also love the flexibility of the classes and ease of scheduling through their app. Couldn’t recommend more!
