American Wing Chun offers expert martial arts instruction in the art of Wing Tsun / Wing Chun. Martial arts near you coming soon.
Very thorough and patient teacher, well worth the time and money!
Bizarro Boxing: the exact opposite of everything I was ever taught in other martial styles. Okay, yes, that's hyperbole, but if you're unfamiliar with Wing Chun, prepare for a Great Awakening. It will change the way you think about self-defense.
After a lot of research, this was the place we picked to get the whole family to be trained in self-defense. There are A LOT of make believe dojos out there, and especially “MMA” places where children are taught bad techniques that have no practical use to actually be able to defend themselves. Sifu Matt is dedicated to the Wing Chun art: a patient, knowledgeable and overall excellent instructor. We are glad we found this place, even being a 45min drive, and I enjoy seeing how my family leaves the practices exhausted but more confident each week.
Awesome school, instruction, and members. Sifu Matt is passionate, patient, and knowledgeable. Wing Chun is a complete system that can rival any other martial arts.
Best Wing Tsun and Ninjutsu instruction in town. The instructor is very knowledgeable with over 15 years of teaching experience under his belt. The environment is family friendly and condusive to learning. I highly recommend this school if you have been interested in Wing Tsun, Ninjutsu or self defense in general.
If you're looking for some real authentic Wing Chun or a very effective self defense this IS the place to Be.. I trained in multiple martial arts and this is by far the most efficient one that works well in the Streets. When I first started training Wing Chun Sifu Matt put every single effort into getting me to understand the forms, the foot work and the Strikes. Sifu Matt is very dedicated into teaching the unique art of Wing Chun to his students and VERY detailed on anything you ask Him. Great Teacher, awesome personality and very good Atmosphere.
A great education with a lot of variety. The instructor really lives and breathes martial arts, and knows how to teach anyone.
What you learn here is the real deal. You will get lots of time with the instructor which will raise your skill quickly.
If you're looking for legitimate Wing Chun, Vin Tsun, Wing Tsun, Ving Chung (whatever your preference) Sifu Matt is the preeminent kung fu expert in the Northern Atlanta area. He teaches an incredibly soft style that lends it self to not only self defense, but a better understanding of the self. Sifu Matt has dedicated his life to mastering a WT system that takes 20+ years to master. I believe he's more than half way through. I studied with him for a year. He makes time to teach all the fundamentals of WT one on one. This is not a style of arrogance but of subtle meditative beauty. And Sifu Matt trys to take all styles into consideration. He is consistently trying to improve his style through research and study of martial arts.
Excellent school. The Sifu offers lots of classes and spends hands on time with each student.
