Best MMA gym in the poconos from Muay Thai to jiu jitsu to wrestling. They have amazing people and amazing instructors. Matt Brian TJ Andrew Dlo are all great coaches that care about the students. Gym has a friendly energy about it and the kids program is great. If you want real martial arts education this is the gym to go to!
I’ve been to many gyms as a professional MMA Fighter but this one is ran so beautifully, Matt and the staff here have a family environment and welcome all new comers and experienced martial artists. I have made Killer bees as my home gym and plan to compete in jiu jitsu, Muay Thai, and MMA - I highly recommend joining the family! Matt Perez is a very insightful and intelligent instructor, he’s also an amazing coach that will push you to be at your best!
American Killer Bees is an outstanding gym that offers a welcoming and supportive environment for individuals and families. I’ve been training at the gym now for over a year and a half and see myself training here forever. As a newcomer, I felt immediately at home thanks to the friendly community and expert coaches. They have been incredibly patient and skilled in guiding me through the training process. My kids love American Killer Bees Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class. They have learned so much and gained a lot of confidence. Professor Matt and the other instructors are always patient and kind with the children. We are blessed to have found this class.
Very clean, welcoming, and capable. The owner is extremely passionate about martial arts and runs a great program. A great opportunity to learn for all levels.
I recently did a drop in at this gym and it was a great time. I have been training for 10 years and working in a martial arts gym for 5. The staff was really nice and my training partners were all great. The owner held pads for everyone and gave students really great instruction during my time there. Awesome gym and highly recommended!
Love these classes. My son newly joined and he's really enjoying them. The teachers are very caring and teach you step by step and assist when you don't understand. My child has volunteered to go more often and I'm so proud because he's really having fun while learning.
My mom and I take the cardio kickboxing class and we love it! The instructor Brian is excellent and we always break a sweat! Great class for all ages and experience levels.

When I left my previous BJJ school I tried a couple of schools in the Scranton area that were excellent but just too far. Lucky American Killer Bee's is just across the street from my former school. I love this place! Matt and his wife are awesome. Professor Perez is amazing. I'm doing moves that I never thought I'd be able to do at the age of 53. He rolls with you every chance he gets. Everyone there is friendly. American Killer Bee's is everything I wanted in a BJJ, MMA, school. It's bigger than my previous school. I get to continue my Muay Thai and Boxing training which my previous school doesn't have. I'm not pressured or forced to buy Gi's or equipment. Most of all it's a really family oriented school.

This gym is great for both adults and children. Coach Matt really looks out for everyone and treats everyone like family. I truly enjoy the kickboxing class. My husband and I are able to do class together. Our son loves being little bee. This is the gym to be at.
Amazing place everyone here is always very nice. The work outs are a killer and you learn how to defend yourself at the same time.

Have been training there about 2 months now. Matt is a knowledgeable and good coach. Everyone there is very humble and willing to help teach what they know. I always feel welcome and there is a positive atmosphere. Will be training here for many years.
Excellent school. Have been attending with my son for over a year now. We go to a mix of classes, BJJ, Muay Thai, Boxing and Kickboxing. The staff and teachers are very instructive but not too formal. Expect to work but feel great after. Everyone there is trying to learn and the advanced students are very helpful to the novices. I have not encountered any "belt ego" in my time there. It's been great for my son and I. Cannot recommend Matt's school enough.

The instructor is very knowledgeable and diverse in many different styles of martial arts. This is the best place to come for anyone who is interested in self defense whether the intent is casual or serious.

Best MMA gym in poconos. hands down! Perfect combination of wrestling/jiu-jitsu, boxing, and muay thai. Great for fun or the serious fighter/competitor. If you want top quality training come here. Good people.
Bad experience. My kids didn’t like to go there and we stopped. Be careful when you leave and stop dealing with them. Make sure you cancel immediately, get all the necessary confirmations, and notify your bank. Otherwise, they'll shamelessly continue withdrawing money from your account and won't refund you unless you have written confirmation. They'll never answer the phone. They're doing everything to their advantage.
