My daughter Cecilia is going on what I believe is year three attending Alicea's Martial Arts Studio. What started out as a cheaper alternative to childcare changed her entire life. The lessons and morals my daughter has learned and continues to learn have transformed her into this confident, strong, and competitive ( in the best way)girl. The staff there truly cares for the children who attend their center and it shows. We have loved sending her there so much that her sister started attending this year. both of my girls were invited to join the competition team and they're SO PROUD and honestly, so are we. They also leave their camp open for teacher work days which is great because we don't get off work just because the school closes. Any parent whose child attends feels the same way that i do. <3

We came across Alicea’s Martial Arts Studio when I saw them picking up students at my daughter’s school and I needed help with an aftercare provider. I’m not sure we realized at the time what a blessing it was going to be and how much more than just aftercare we were going to get. Through their karate program my daughter has gained such confidence, responsibility, dedication, and many other skills that she will carry with her for her lifetime. I remember the day she came home and told me she learned about integrity that day and how it was doing the right thing even when no one was watching. That was when I knew she was getting so much more than just an aftercare program, she was getting life lessons. She has since joined the karate competition team and is LOVING it! Master Alicea, Ms. Desi and all the staff are amazing with the kids, and I love how much the kids look up to them. They give each child one on one attention and allow them to grow at their own pace while pumping them up with positive feedback. My youngest daughter is now following in my oldest daughter’s footsteps and has also started at the Studio for aftercare and karate and I can’t wait to watch them both continue to blossom! There is nothing like watching their huge smiles when they accomplish a new skill or graduate to a new color karate belt! I couldn’t give enough thanks to the Alicea’s team for building a community for my children, I am forever grateful and would recommend them to anyone looking for a home for their little one after school, during spring break or summer, or even just in the afternoon for karate classes.

Alicea’s Martial Arts has been my saving grace. Since enrolling my son a few years ago, his behavior and karate skills have improved and he still enjoys it. Master Alicea, Mrs. Desi, Mr. Ramon along with the rest of the staff are awesome! Thank you all!

Ms. Desi is the best instructor around very patient and kind when dealing with the little ones. You can tell she truly cares about the students just based off of her interactions with each and every one of them and her adult classes are a fun way to work out and learn self defense. 10/10 recommend for anyone interested in learning martial arts no matter the age

I have been going to master Alicea’s for a few weeks now and the whole time I have felt welcomed and accepted even if I did not know anything, everyone there is very understanding and they try their best to help you improve every session. Truly amazed 10/10!

If you want a legitimate martial arts school for you or your child, you cannot go wrong with Alicea’s. Master Alicea and Ms Desi are AWESOME. My kids love it here and it has helped them so much!!!

UPDATE: 3 years later and he still loves it. 1/19/2023 My little one started karate here about 6 months ago and absolutly LOVES IT. It has helped his Focus, Concentration and Confidence. The change we have seen in him is great, his teacher has also said she has seen a positive change in him as well. The staff here is AMAZING all the way around. They also offer a great after school program. You will not be disappointed.

I had my 5yr old daughter in their after school program and it was great. Their staff is amazing and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a productive after school program for their kids.

My daughter started classes here a few months ago and wow what a change I've seen on her, building confidence, acquiring leadership skills and super excited to become a black belt! Everyone at Alicea's Martial Arts is super friendly and respectful, they are teaching true values to all the kids, I'm so happy that we decided to try this martial arts school because it's been a blessing! I recommend this place 1000% Master Alicea, Miss Adriana and the rest of the staff Thank you so much because you are changing people's lives and helping to teach our kids values that have been forgotten :)

My husband and I were extremely impressed with Alicea's Martial Arts studio and all the staff. When I talked to Adriana on the phone we was very nice and informative and set up an appt. for a free seminar to see if my 8 yr old son would like it. My son was very nervous about the whole thing but once it got started he was totally engaged and that is all he talked about the whole weekend. Jorge, Ms. Desi, and Adriana are very good with the kids and it shows that they really care.

Wow.. Almost 7 years to date that we made the best decision for our daughter. We enrolled in the Lil Dragon Program when she was 4 and we have never looked back! Master Alicea, Ms Desi and Staff are truly amazing! She has learned leadership skills, confidence, Integrity, respect and an interest in helping others in our Community, plus so much more. Thank you, for all you continue to do, to help other students learn real life "Values".

Alicea’s Martial Arts Studio is an extremely well run company. My Grandson was very shy and enrolling him in karate has really helped him overcome his shyness and given him confidence. His teacher at school even noticed a difference. Thank you for everything you do on a regular basis. We came to master Alice as a last resort wish we came to him frist. My two boys started a year ago and I have seen them enjoy it so much I have started to take classes.

Great place for summer camp! They are very attentive to the kids, provide training in multiple martial arts disciplines, invent clever games that encourage exercise, AND have great field trips every week! My kids love going and we know they are being well cared for.

My son has been going here for the past 3 years and since coming here I have noticed a boost in confidence, discipline and organization skills. My son loves coming to classes and looks forward to attending daily. This studio, staff and students have become part of our extended family. We work together as a team to make sure my son has all needs to be a successful in school and in life.

5 years of wasted time. This place is convenient as a very expensive daycare but that’s about it. If you want your kid to actually learn how to fight and maybe earn a black belt this is NOT this place. They charge a lot and the building looks good but at NO time was I EVER impressed with any of the staff. Not a very convincing “Master” either. We are all very disappointed.

If you have your children picked up by this business I would think about having another transportation service provided for you children. (After school pickup) Van #3 today blonde lady with NO patience is driving your children around. She rides so close to other vehicles and cuts off other vehicles. She is a danger on the road and your children in the Van. Shame on this business for allowing this. If you read down on the reviews from other's you will see the same comment. They obviously don't care about the safety of the children. If you would like to dispute I'll pull up my front and back dash cam and add the video. Unacceptable

My son was going here and went to 2 classes out of the 4 monthly due to my work schedule, so I decided to pay for summer camp since it was 10% off if you payed 3 weeks in advance, let me tell you he did not attend not one day of summer camp. They will not refund my $320 for anything.. I told them I would even give all the uniforms and equipment back and I was told I would get a call back and nothing. Then I decided to call today and was told it can be put toward anyone’s tuition but no refunds.... I DO NOT RECOMMEND as they only look to take your money in any aspect.
