A place where I consider a second home, Professor Igor along with the rest of the alchemy students are some of the best and knowledgable people to learn from and be around! If you want to get a great physical workout while also growing mentally this place is the place to go!

I can’t say enough great things about alchemy ! The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and truly care about each student’s progress. The atmosphere is welcoming whether you’re a beginner or more experienced, and the community feels like a family. Training here has not only improved my skills and fitness, but also boosted my confidence. Highly recommend to anyone looking to learn jiu-jitsu in a supportive and motivating environment!

Training here has been an amazing experience! The environment is very welcoming, the training partners are always supportive and encouraging, and Professor Igor is excellent — he teaches with patience, skill, and motivation. I truly feel part of a family on the mats. Highly recommend to anyone looking to improve their Jiu-Jitsu and make great friends along the way.

I've trained in martial arts for most of my life. Alchemy is easily the best school that I've trained at. The environment is very warm and welcoming, with an emphasis on learning. No egos here. Igor (the owner) is a very kind and humble man. He embodies all of the positive traits that a martial artist should have.

I've been training here for about 18 months, and I love it. The head coach is experienced and invested in helping students learn and improve their game, and there's a wealth of knowledge to be found in the upper belts that train here, who share the same mentality. The gym is supported by a strong foundation of new students looking to grow, with an underlying sense of community based on respect, sportmanship, and a shared desire amongst the students and coaches to better themselves. A typical class consists of warmups, technique drills, and live sparring, with open mat sessions available weekly. The gym has a healthy presence in the competition scene, and training is a good mix of foundational and advanced technique with added emphasis on competition prep leading up to tournaments as people sign up. Whether your goals are simply to learn the sport or to test yourself against others, you'll be set up for success here. Alchemy's a great place to hone your game, and a welcoming place to learn BJJ as a new student. If you're looking for a gym I really couldn't recommend it enough.

Tl;dr try it out! If you're looking to be humbled in a welcoming and supportive environment, then this is your gym. Alchemy Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu takes what is an intimidating sport and turns it into a comprehensive and intrinsically rewarding experience. I have been with this gym for the past six months, first showing up not knowing what to expect. I find each class to be unique and challenging from week to week. My teachers and fellow teammates are considerate and very understanding of each other, constantly looking to help each other out and make each other better. The culture surrounding this is an added bonus. You'll find that the struggle is real. Thankfully, any drill may be tailored to the student's own skill level, whether they are starting out day one with zero experience or showing up with years of training. This makes for an overall enjoyable learning experience for something that may otherwise be incredibly frustrating. I highly, highly recommend taking the time and opportunity to show up for the two free classes Professor Igor offers. The experience is completely unlike anything else. You get back what you put into it. Keep showing up and be amazed by the progress and results.
