I started training here over a year ago and I highly recommend it. It's a welcoming environment for a beginner; the classes are great, there are no egos and the higher belts always have time to share some tips and insights when rolling. The most special aspect is the community, it feels like a family; everyone wants to see each other progress, and shares in your journey. The schedule is more extensive than some of the other gyms I looked at - there are good options to train every day of the week, no matter what kind of schedule you work.

DGA is a great academy to train in BJJ! Professor Frankie has welcomed me with open arms. The academy is clean and welcoming, with a supportive community. Everyone, from professors and coaches to students and staff, made me feel part of this exceptional community! I can't wait for the years to come and become better at BJJ, creating great memories with lots of great friends I've made!

What an amazing 7-8 years has been training under Frankie Passos at Daniel Gracie Academy in Northborough. Today I look back when I first started training and realize how much my life has changed for the better. Jiu Jitsu teaches you so many valuable lessons that will follow you throughout your whole life. It teaches Loyalty, Courage, Patience, Resilience, Determination, Discipline, Humility and so many other things. With a family atmosphere and camaraderie that we have it would be a pleasure to have YOU as a training partner and friend, come on down!OSS!

My son Michael has bin to three classes thus far. He is almost five years old and is having the time of his life. He loves his two teachers and everyone’s made us feel comfortable and right at home. Lydia at the front desk was so kind and helpful and were very grateful to be a part of this class. We also highly recommend for this age group in particular.

My kids have been going to the Daniel Gracie Academy Northborough for about the last two years. When so much time is spent on devices and sitting, it’s so important for kids to move their bodies in new and dynamic ways. Each class starts with starts with full body stretching and warm up exercises that get their heart rate up. If the group is learning a new move there is a quick demo and then the class is paired off while Frankie and his instructors guide them through the lesson. Usually then they practice grappling in the latter part of the class. Professor Frankie and his team have a way to speak to the kids that is both firm but light hearted. Kids are invited to participate in tournaments and there is plenty of opportunity to do so but it’s not required. They recently had an in-house tournament and it was a great! My kids aren’t really interested in competing and are happy to just train and that’s completely fine too. I hardly ever write reviews but I highly highly recommend the Daniel Gracie Academy Northborough.
