My friend and I trained with them for a session a few years back (we were Shodans in Hakko Ryu Jiu-Jitsu at the time). Very experienced staff, and we realized our Aikido needed lots of improvement. Class size is small so you receive a lot of attention. Would recommend if you are new to the arts or are looking for a new style.

I’ve been practicing Kokikai aikido for over a decade now and I am so glad to have a place to practice here in Queens. It’s a small space that is shared with jiujitsu, MMA, and kickboxing, among other sports. The classes are usually small so everyone gets a lot of individualized attention which is nice. Would love to see the classes get bigger though and more people join!

To the person who gave a 1 Star rating without writing anything...then again you gave a lot of places a 1 star rating so perhaps the problem is the person standing in the mirror? So I leave you with the words of O'Sensei..."As soon as you concern Yourself with the "good" and "bad" of your fellows, you create an opening in your heart for maliciousness to enter. Testing, competing with and criticizing others weakens and defeats you." Seek peace my friend and find those peaceful moments in Life so many of us seek but Never Find! Oshi Shinobu!
