Academy Plymouth is a fantastic choice to develop combative skillsets in multiple martial arts disciplines. The coaches are talented at both combat and sharing the different art forms. All levels/backgrounds welcome to train!
Plymouth Mn is really fortunate to have such world class coaches like Josh and John. I’ve had the pleasure of training with them multiple times and they are both truly dedicated to their craft and to helping others improve. Seriously two of the best dudes out there doing martial arts. I would definitely recommend training with them while you can - because if win the lottery I am stealing both of them and relocating them to Fargo for my own selfish reasons.
Can't recommend this place enough! they have a great kids Jiu Jitsu program as well an Adults Jiu Jitsu program. Can't say enough good things about this place! The owner and I go way back! Glad to see up and running bro!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Academy Plymouth - started here 4 months ago with zero martial arts experience. The atmosphere is always welcoming - no egos, tons of passion. It starts from the top with the coaches - friendly, super knowledgeable, always teaching technique safely. There’s a focus on continual improvement any level that you’re at. Clean gym and respectful rolling partners - Great place to train!
The Academy Plymouth is an amazing gym with an outstanding atmosphere! All the coaches are very professional, knowledgeable and really care about your growth as a martial artist. I would highly recommend this gym for anyone whether you’re a beginner to seasoned fighter.

Absolutely fantastic gym. Has brought me from a point of little BJJ experience to competing and winning in tournaments. All the coaches are committed to your learning and are highly adaptable to your needs and how you learn. All are very experienced and some of the chillest guys around. Whether you want to just do it for cardio or are looking to hone your skills and compete, academy plymouth is the place to go. Super friendly and hard-working community, everyone wants all members to succeed! This gym is an absolute treat if you want to get a start (or push yourself even further) in your martial arts journey!

Coaches John and Josh are dedicated to the success of their students. Their passion and perserverence shows in the culture of the Academy Plymouth. High level martial arts for beginners through pros. I am a BJJ and Judo black belt with over 30 years of training martial arts and I can cofidently reccomend training at Academy Plymouth.
