Victor is one of the most genuine human beings I've ever met. When choosing a martial arts coach, trustworthiness is one of the most important factors I look for and Victor has that amongst many other positive qualities. He's an extremely experienced martial artist and very dedicated to his role as a coach. He trains alongside his students and sets a positive example for them both on and off the mats. I highly recommend Absolute to anybody in Johnston or the surrounding areas for your martial arts training.

If you're looking for a legitimate professional coach and fighter, that knows the sport and knows how to connect individually with his students, then you need to come join Absolute. I've trained in Muay Thai and BJJ gyms in Utah, Seattle and Atlanta, and I've never been to such a killer club. Coach Moreno is the real deal. We signed up our entire family (9, 14 and 17 years old) along with me and my wife (44 and 45) and he shines with each age group. A professional, disciplined and welcoming environment where you feel like you're the only one in the gym as he coaches and pushes you to be better. Encouraging, motivating and demanding at the same time. You won't regret it.
Great place to train the martial arts no matter your skill level including wrestling, Jiu-jitsu, kickboxing, Muay Thai. The owner, coach Vic is a very knowledgeable and passionate coach with an impressive MMA resume. Facility is clean and classes are not too large so you will get individual help throughout classes. Had a great time and will be back!
Vic and the team at Absolute Martial Arts are genuine coaches. It’s important when sending your kids to martial arts facilities that the coach is a positive, active father outside of coaching. Vic is that and it’s extremely important outside of developing martial skills, it’s martial artists who have a certain character that can only be learned by example. Highly recommended.

When I went for the first times everyone was very welcoming. They made sure to not overwhelm me, but also didn't take it too easy on me either. It just was the right amount of attention and encouragement.

The workouts are fun and you have trainers who give hands on instant feedback and adjustments during the workouts and just the right amount of encouragement. Everyone there is friendly and make me actually want to go train. I look forward to walking through the doors and always feel amazing when I leave. Highly recommend!

My daughter takes the jujitsu classes and they offer exercise classes I take at the same time. It works out perfectly. The instructors are great and motivating people. I love that the kids in jujitsu are focused on helping each other learn.

Hands down the most experienced, genuine, and technical MMA instruction you can find in the Des Moines area. Vic and his crew are top notch as it gets. The techniques are taught in a realistic, enthusiastic, and easily digestible manner. If you are looking to learn to fight, competitively or for self defense, this is your spot.
