Great place to bring your child to learn taekwondo. Wonderful and patient instructors.
We are incredibly pleased with this Taekwondo school run by Master Fitz and Tara. My daughter is now 15 and just earned her black belt after about 3 years of study. To see the young woman she has become makes me so proud — she has really built strength and confidence here. Also, I love how this family makes it easy to decide if this is your kid's thing. No "six-month" contract to get started (which really turned me off about other local studios in West Cobb). Master Fitz continues to pursue black belts and is on his 6th or 7th now (from Kukkiwon World HQ). That's one of the highest degree black belts in the state of Georgia. It's apparently a lifelong pursuit and very few studio owners pursue it that far. I've learned that many studio owners stop at a second degree black belt, so we're really getting instruction from people who have a drive for continued learning at Westside. But the quality of their character and how they teach and guide their students is every more impressive. So glad we got connected here! My daughter will continue to pursue her next black belt. On a side note - great summer camp for kids! My 10-year-old has attended for two years with some of his friends and they love it. It's not just TKD, but also traditional water play, camp games, and crafts.
i have two kids age 9(girl) and 13(boy) both have been attending taekwando for last 2 yrs , the on going training for both of my kids has been excellent beneficial in there regular day to day school activities. As parent (dad) i would highly recommed westside martial arts for superior training for adults and kids. Master Fitzgrld and M/S Tara Fitzgrld excellent instructors with exceptional teaching skills in all martial arts program. The atmosphere is very family oriented , its a great place to be . They also offer personal training program .

What an amazing place! We love Westside Martial Arts. Our grandson has been taking lessons for a very short time but the skills he is developing is awesome! Discipline, taking care of his Taekwondo uniform, listening, and taking pride in his work! Thank you Westside!!!
We can’t say enough great things about this studio. Our boys love coming here and are learning so much. Master Fitz and Master Tara make it fun while making sure the kids are learning proper techniques. Highly recommended.
Great instructor!! My kids love the training and I love the small classes. They do a great job of helping the children progress and develop. I'm so happy to have a TaeKwonDo studio nearby. They train adults as well!!
