My daughter has been in A+ Martial Arts since she was 3 years old, and I could not be happier with our experience. The Senseis are absolutely wonderful. They genuinely love working with their students and also care about teaching good values. It’s clear they also believe and care about her, have been willing to have side conversations encouraging good behavior, and also champion her success as she continues to train, learn, and grow.
It’s clear that my little girl feels so happy and confident every minute she’s there and leaves the class running out with a big smile on her face. Thank you A+ Martial Arts!!

From the moment we walked in, the instructors and staff made us feel welcome. They are incredibly patient and great with young kids, striking the perfect balance between fun and structure. My boys look forward to every class, and I love watching them build confidence, coordination, and respect for others.
The classes are well-paced for their age group, ensuring they stay focused while also having a blast. I appreciate how the instructors reinforce important life skills like listening, perseverance, and teamwork. The belt progression system is motivating, giving them clear goals to work toward without unnecessary pressure.
Beyond the physical benefits, I’ve noticed a positive change in their behavior at home—better listening, following directions, and even showing more respect for each other (which is a huge win!).

Great karate program! The staff are supportive and excellent at teaching but also make the class a lot of fun. The kids learn quickly but without even realizing how much they are learning. Of note, the instructors are world class athletes and dedicating to teaching.
We love A+ martial arts! They have such patience and are so dedicated to the students. My son loves coming to class and you can tell how proud he is of all his accomplishments. 10/10 recommend!!
This is a wonderful space for children to learn martial arts. The studio is immaculately clean. The teachers are very helpful and encouraging. They work hard to not only teach the skills, but make the learning experience fun. I love the flexibility the offer for classes. You can select any class each week that works best for your schedule. My son always enjoys going to class!
A+ Martial Arts has been incredible for my boys. They began in the spring at ages 5 and 3 and I have seen tremendous growth in confidence, discipline, and strength. They thoroughly love attending the “Little Dragons” with Yousif and look forward to each session. Highly recommended to anyone interested!
So thankful to sensei Adam. The way he encourages my daughter each class to not give up just because she is the youngest and may not be able to complete each task with out help really goes a long way. We so appreciate everyone at A+ Martial Arts. Highly recommend!!

Simply the best! I have 2 kids enrolled at A+ Martial Arts and they absolutely love it! They look forward to their classes. Class sizes are perfect! Instruction is outstanding! However one more factor that makes this studio better than the rest are the Sensei!!! They are terrific, caring, patient, knowledgeable and just amazing! We have been recommending this studio to all our friends.
I have two kids enrolled. Both kids enjoy going to classes. The senseis are professional and always keep the kids interested in the lessons. I'm so happy they have come to the north shore. If you're looking for a place for your kids to be active, learn discipline, have fun, make friends, and see your child build self-confidence every time they rank up, this is the place.

Great place. Supper friendly staff and owners. They really work well with the kids in instruction and motivation. My son really loves coming so much so we moved from once a week to twice a week. He is showing more discipline and focus every week. Would highly recommended trying it out.
A+ Martial arts was recommended to me by multiple people so I took my son to a trial class. From the minute we came in the door, everyone working here has been great! They are so friendly, accommodating and great with the children. My son loves coming to classes here! We are now signed up for classes 2x a week and I would highly recommended it to anyone looking for a martial arts class.
This karate studio is amazing…the team is incredibly kind and patient with the kids. Our 3.5 yr old loves it, has responded well to the classes, and is setting a path for his younger brother to join him in a few months. Thank you, A+ Glen Head!

Both of my grandsons are lucky enough to study with them and our experience has been magical. The 3 year old who usually is a little out of control transforms into the most well behaved boy. The 7 year old has developed such confidence and athleticism from going. We can not say enough good things about this place . You want your children to experience what they have!
Best Karate DoJo on Long Island by far !!! Sensi Adam, Ashley and Yousif are outstanding teachers. They are experts and teach with a passion for Karate which shines through. Both my kids go almost everyday. We are lucky to have A+ Martial Arts!!!
5 PLUS stars for wonderful school with the best teachers. I have trained martial arts 45+ years and when I was looking for a school for my two children, I had very high standards. They have exceeded all my expectations. This is not only wonderful instruction but each and every instructor is a wonderful person. The best investment in my children ever, and many many many thanks to A+ Martial Arts.
You couldn’t possibly pick a better karate dojo than these people right here. My niece has been being trained by them since she was 3. She’s 5 now and the progress she’s made is unbelievable. Not just in the self defense she’s learned which was the reason we signed up up, but the respect the instill in ever kid that comes there was is amazing. They have so much patience and are so good with kids we’ll still teaching them in a competitive style and pushing them to be the best they can be. If karate’s is even the slightest thought in your mind this is truly the only choice. We travel 30 minutes to get to each class and the thought of going to a closer dojo hasn’t crossed our minds once.
My son and grandkids love this place sensei Adam sensei Ashley the school is the best kids enjoyed it tremendously can’t wait to have the party here!!

We give A+ Martial Arts the highest recommendation possible. Our boys have benefited so much from the karate classes. The dojo has a family atmosphere where the Senseis genuinely care about each and every student. They provide all of the students with a very supportive environment that is fun and fitness oriented building strength, confidence, and discipline. If you are looking for the best of the best, you have A+ Martial Arts. We are very lucky and thankful for A+:-)
Karate is the best experience for kids. They are learning discipline and respect. Children look up to senseis more then anyone else. I highly recommend.
3 of my kids go to A+ Martial Arts! We love this place. Their instructors are the best! They teach from a beginners level all the way to top level competition team! My kids have learned so much and most of all they have so much fun with fitness!

My Daughter has been coming to A plus Marshal Arts for few years, She started with Sensei Ashley At first which was very helpful and she had a great Time and for the past year she has been coming To Karate classes, She loves all Sensei there, They all very hard working And always have smile on their face Sensei Adham, Sensei Ashley, Sensei Yosef and Sensei Omar, thank you for all you do for our children!!!
I love that the senseis are so positive and patient. My son has gained so much self esteem and learned a tremendous amount about working towards a goal. I can’t say enough how amazing and encouraging they are.
