Absolutely incredible gym and community. The focus on commitment, self improvement, and challenging our egos is evident with everyone here. The coaches are brilliant, badass, and kind. I often find myself rolling with a partner, only to find out a few classes later that they are actually a coach (shoutout Mike!). And the community and support from the peers is unparalleled, I barely know some of these folks and I feel like I could reach out the group chat with a flat tire and 10 of them would come help me out. This is a special place, and I highly encourage ANYONE to come in.

I dropped in to attend a few Sunday class. Coach Ali was very knowledgeable & made the boxing a great experience. While I could cannot recall the 2 bjj instructors names, both where great at coaching & adjusting details. 10/10 would visit again.
My son started trying some classes out and since I’m already there I figured I would try th women’s class out. A lot of incredible instructors from what I’m seeing, you can get a wonderful vibe from those who are there a lot.
We came from another 10th Planet gym in California. They welcomed us with open arms, treated us like family. We really appreciate the hospitality. The gym was very nice and well maintained. Lots of different amenities and room to train. I have family members that live in town and we will definitely be back to train with them again.
I went to 10th Planet after searching for self defense classes. I chose this gym because they offer FREE women’s classes, which tells me they have a vested interest in empowering women to feel safe and confident! I was nervous because I would never otherwise engage in a combative sport, just want to feel confident defending myself. I attended the women’s class and was very pleased. All of the women were kind and supportive in my learning. I was also pleased with the culture of the men present at this gym. It is not a testosterone fighting energy but one of discipline and community. They were respectful and kind. I will continue to attend the women’s classes until I feel comfortable attending the fundamentals. This gym truly understands trauma and creates a safe space for women! I highly recommend if you are looking to take your power back! The owner, Conor, contacted me the day after to see how my experience was and answer questions. We had a long phone conversation, which helped me to better understand self defense, my path and the gym’s mission and ethics. I've been to around 5 open mats at 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Denver and always leave the mats feeling grateful. Conor (the owner of the gym) has created an environment that feels safe, competitive, clean and cohesive to community. I was very nervous to step out of my comfort zone to a new gym and felt very welcomed. I've rolled with several of the coaches (Mike, Ali, Miguel, and potentially others) and felt each one was kind and safe and were willing to give pointers. As a white belt with very limited wrestling experience these and all the rolls I've had at 10th planet have felt really supportive for my BJJ journey, as they all have felt safe and competitive. I've also been super impressed with the thought Conor and his staff put in around the cleanliness of the gym, actually seeing the mats get clean every night, having mouthwash and spray in the bathroom and requiring sanitary before and after mat use. It just feels cleaner than most gyms I've been to. I've also been impressed with the community of the gym itself, I hear a lot of jokes and conversations about people looking to hangout outside of the gym and I have been met with kindness by the people in the gym. The gym is also very family friendly and welcoming to women and children, a huge green flag in my eyes. I wish I lived closer to Denver 10th planet and encourage anyone interested in BJJ to give Denver 10th planet a try!

The women's Jiu-Jitsu classes at 10th Planet Denver are more than just a Jiu-Jitsu class; they're a sisterhood. Coaches Shelia and Hannah create a safe and empowering space where women of all levels can learn, grow, and support each other. The 10th Planet system is challenging and effective, and the instructors break down the techniques in a way that's easy to understand. If you're looking for a fun, challenging, and supportive community, I highly recommend giving these classes a try.
One of my old training partners invited me to check out the gym. Walking in, it was a great space! Tons of mat room and very clean. I was welcomed by the coach quickly, and everyone on the mats were great too. All in all a great space and even better people!
I’m completely new to any kind of fighting sports, so I had to drop a review because of how awesome this place is. The instructors are very skilled/knowledgeable, but not at any expense to their modesty or teaching abilities. Every coach and fellow member that I have encountered has been more than happy to work with me at my level as we walk through the moves being taught in class. I cannot think of a more elite, yet fun and approachable community to be involved with. I’m excited to keep coming here. Thanks guys!

I train at Brazilian Top Team Evergreen but like to visit other open mats. I attended the 10 P Saturday open mat and was blown away by the cleanliness and amenities their facility has to offer. Once I made my way onto the mat I was greeted with open arms and respect. I definitely got some good rounds in and will be back again soon !

Edit: Coming up on a year now and honestly this place has been a blessing to me personally. The connections I've made, the lessons I've learned. I thank whatever god exists had the idea to have 2 GREAT martial artists open a place to cultivate personal progress!! Update: working on my purple belt here and the development has been great. I have been at 10th planet for almost 2 years off and on and can honestly say that Conor Heun ( the owner) genuinely takes the time to care about each person he brings in which you will not find anywhere else. A women’s community that is no drama and empowering. An overall community that helps each person get better without being harsh. The coaches are top notch and if you can snag a private lesson with ( Miguel or George M) you will not be disappointed. The community here is unmatched and truly rare.

I've been training at this location for about 2 years and I absolutely love it - there is a whole cirriculum here that is unlike any other. They have an incredibly robust schedule that offers classes round the clock and there are always events going on at the gym to create that sense of community - my favorites are the last Friday of the month for the Roll & Rave! I also have boys who train at a Gi gym nearer to home, and when possible I'll bring my sons in to 10th Planet to cross train. The classes have a great coach to student ratio and coach Ian does fantastic work training the kids on the finer parts of technique. I'm a big fan and can't recommend this gym enough.
I have been training at 10th Planet Denver for almost 2 years and it is the best Jiu Jitsu gym around. Coach Connor and the other coaches are very knowledgeable with classes morning, noon, or night. The facility is very clean with plenty of mat space and even an area upstairs for Strength and Conditioning.
My experience training at 10th Planet Denver has been absolutely phenomenal. In just a few months i have seen my conditioning improve, gotten a solid start to learning this incredible martial art and sport, and found my place among an outstanding community of people. I taught children’s Karate years ago, and I love what i have observed of the Kids’ Jiu Jitsu program at 10th Planet. The instructors are excellent, the environment is safe and fun, and those kids are learning how to defend themselves. Highly recommend!!

The original warm welcome has transformed into some incredible friendships! The community at 10p is amazing. From competition support, to back yard parties, and roll and raves. 10p has been one of the best decisions I have made in my adult life! Recently we decided to sign our kids up as well. My kids joined right in like they had been doing it for years. The coaches have infinite patience and a wealth of knowledge that the kiddos have no problem sponging up. If you're looking for a new place to train, or to start a new path, 10th planet is the place to feel at home. There is also a longmont location if you live up north.

HUGE facility. Tons of classes for kids and adults. Great coaching in different disciplines (boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, jujitsu, yoga, etc) and on top of that they have a sauna, cold plunge, and some free weights for strength training. Best bang for your buck by far!! I’m from out of town and was visiting Denver so I decided to stop in to try a class here. Not only did everyone in the gym treat me like I was one of their teammates, they specifically made sure I was safe. A lot of gyms that I have gone to when I travel don’t do this. I’ve gone to gyms and within the first 15 minutes someone is sparring/rolling like they are going to earn a UFC contract in practice. Not here at 10p Denver though. Egos are left at the door. 100% will be back.

Such a great school, it has everything you need for grappling and striking. The students and staff are awesome. 100 percent recommend this place if you wanna get started on your jiu-jitsu journey.

I was lucky enough to be able to drop in and train with the head instructor Conor Heun and his team tonight. It was a great experience and the gym has a great vibe of camaraderie and respect. I was welcomed with open arms and the team even stayed back after class just to talk. What was also amazing was how impeccably clean and sanitary the mat space was. The footbath was changed with fresh chemical before class and the flow of traffic was well-controlled. The cleanliness standards are at the highest levels. This is a respectful gym in every way! I hope to come back again one day and I will wear my newly-acquired 10P Denver rashguard proudly!!!
Amazing gym. Conor cares about the people at the gym and always provides a respectful environment for everyone. The quality and quantity this gym offers is outstanding for the price. This gym helps with weight loss and has a variety of martial arts classes. I have been to many martial arts gyms before this one, and this one is hands down the best.
Super cool place to train no-gi jiu-jitsu in Denver! These guys welcomed me for a drop-in and I was really pleased with the instructor’s motivational and inspiring speech. Their warm ups are high level and the move of the day involved some really cool leg locks. Afterwards there were some situational sparring before opening up the mat to everyone to train. Highly recommend!
Went to my first class here tonight. They offer a free women’s class that makes everything a lot less intimidating for a first timer. Everyone was so welcoming and made it approachable for a beginner.

10th planet has a very solid class structure, and a phenomenal sense of camaraderie amongst the fighters end members. The coaches provide excellent assistance to those who may be struggling, and Prioritize attention to detail when teaching the techniques. My experience was a solid 10 out of 10

My first time on the mats with Head Coach Conor Heun was awesome! As someone with five years of gi training experience, I found this introduction to the 10th Planet curriculum incredible. Conor’s detailed, patient, and relatable instruction ensures that mind, body, and spirit converge while training. His mindfulness approach keeps students centered and focused, while also having a damn good time. The gym is inclusive, welcoming, and exceptionally clean. Was in town for a quick visit. I’ve always wanted to train with 10th Planet and the Denver location didn’t disappoint. Lots of class variety, friendly (and happy) instructors, and an emphasis on cleanliness. The owner made a point of coming over to introduce himself during class. Only good things to say and hope to have the opportunity to train there again.

I am a blue belt from out of town & I was in Denver for 2 days. I decided to stop by for the 6am class on Thursday. Coach Brian was very nice & I learned a lot in just one class. I dropped in as an out-of-towner having heard that this was the place in Denver to play BJJ. Beautiful, incredibly clean, and inviting facility & people. The training was also phenomenal - and included a warm up of stretching/yoga.The instructors brought a powerfully positive message and displayed very technical modern jiujitsu. I will be back anytime I'm in the Denver area. Do not miss a chance to train here.

Coach Conor is well-informed on BJJ, obviously. What stood out to me, though, was his competency on crafting a open and welcoming environment for all. Since coming out as trans, I've had difficulties with gyms, but Conor and the whole 10th planet crew were welcoming and ready to train with me, no questions asked. If you are trans or nonbinary, I can personally vouch for 10th Planet Denver as s great place to join if you want some serious BJJ training and some serious fun in an joyous community. :)
This is an incredible gym. The instructors are all excellent and passionate. It’s a clean and well-arranged space. Classes are varied but always structured efficiently. It’s a welcoming environment and there are people of all levels to train with. Ultimately everything you could want in a gym; highly recommend checking it out!
I'm really happy that I've been able to join. Conor is an incredible head coach, and the other coaches all have their own valuable perspectives and insights. It's crazy the wealth of knowledge at this gym. The fundamentals class gets your strength and flexibility up, while incorporating underlying philosophies with the technique. The 10th planet system is awesome, seamlessly melding the most effective no-gi bjj, wrestling, and judo training. They also stay on the cutting edge of what's successful at the highest levels of competition, because there are many high level athletes that train and teach here. There are several mma and striking classes offered with excellent coaches as well. At the same time the gym culture is very welcoming to newbies. Coach Conor often reiterates how we learn to help others, as we learn ourselves. The very challenging learning curve combined with this interactive review and testing process, is part of what makes the "gameplay loop" of bjj so compelling and deep.

Spent the week in Denver and dropped into several classes. I ended up just training here and didn't consider going to any other place. The facility is top notch and the members are even better. Super welcoming and friendly atmosphere along with high level coaches. I'm hooked on nogi and 10th Planet. I definitely will be coming back!

All the pro coaches are cool. Most of the amateur coaches are hotheads. They get mad when students put them in compromising positions. Connor is also cool but doesn't know how to manage his coaches or gym. The pro striking coach is always professional 10/10 for him.
