South Windsor is a regular stop for BJJ tournaments in Connecticut, with events also running in nearby Middletown and Bristol. MDL Connecticut holds events several times a year, and FUJI BJJ runs its CT State Championship and Middletown Spring Championship in the area. NAGA and Ascension Grappling Championships have also held Connecticut events here.
Gi and No-Gi divisions are offered in roughly equal measure, and around two in five events include kids divisions. October is the busiest month, followed by June, with further events in January, April and September.
