Savannah has a steady BJJ calendar built around a few recurring series. NEWBREED Ultimate Challenge runs Savannah Summer, Winter and Spring Championships, and FUJI BJJ holds Savannah Fall and Winter Championships as well as the Georgia State Championship.
The local Guardian Series runs spring and fall tournaments, and some events take place in nearby Guyton. August is the busiest month, followed by March, October and December, and Gi divisions are slightly more common than No-Gi.
