Indian Trail hosts BJJ tournaments for the Charlotte area. NEWBREED runs its Charlotte Samurai Series here, and the FUJI BJJ Charlotte Winter Championship has also been held in the town.
Around two in three events offer Gi and No-Gi divisions, and about half include an absolute division, with kids divisions at around a third. August is the busiest month, with winter events in February and November.
