Hopkins is a regular BJJ tournament location in the Twin Cities, with events also held in nearby Minneapolis.
Grappling Industries runs its Minnesota and Minneapolis events here, and FUJI BJJ holds its Minnesota Fall, Spring and Winter Championships. United Grappling and Ritsu Fight Promotions, with the Ritsu Fight Open for adults and for kids, teens and juveniles, also appear on the calendar. Most events offer Gi, No-Gi and kids divisions, and many include an absolute. Entry usually costs around $30–$90. September is the busiest month.
