Edinburgh is a regular stop on the Scottish BJJ calendar, with an occasional event also held in nearby Musselburgh. The Edinburgh BJJ Open is the most frequent event, and Grappling Industries and All Stars BJJ Scotland have both run tournaments in the city.
The Caledonian BJJ Open and Fuzion Grappling have also been held here. Most events offer both Gi and No-Gi divisions, and many include absolute divisions, while around a quarter have kids categories. November is by far the busiest month, followed by January.
