Danvers hosts a mix of BJJ tournaments on Massachusetts' North Shore. FUJI BJJ runs the Massachusetts Winter Championships, and Tap Cancer Out holds its Massachusetts BJJ Open with separate kids/teens and adult/masters editions. Fenix Brazilian Jiu Jitsu runs the Fenix Open and Fenix Fall Open, and the New England BJJ Championships and Candy Cane Classic have also been held here.
Most events offer Gi divisions, with No-Gi available at some, and around a third include absolute divisions. Some events take place in nearby Woburn, Peabody and North Andover. March and November are the busiest months.
