Annandale is home to Copa Virginia, a seasonal BJJ tournament run by DCJJ Tournaments with Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter editions. Events in the area also take place in nearby Arlington, Springfield and Fairfax.
Gi and No-Gi divisions are both offered, and a good share of events include kids divisions and absolutes. IBJJF rules are used. September is the busiest month, followed by March, November and June.
