Internationally recognized as one of the world’s leading Grappling and Submission Fighting organizations, SUG arrives in the United States for its first national event, bringing together athletes from teams and regions across the country for a high-level, competitive grappling event.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A MATCHMAKING EVENT.

Athletes will compete in official divisions based on age, weight, and skill level, with both Gi and No-Gi divisions available for all age groups.

Division Check & Changes: November 16th at 8:00 PM.

Brackets & Official Schedule Released: November 19 starting at 2:00 PM.

  • Wrestlers with up to 1 year of experience;
  • Judo athletes holding an ORANGE BELT or lower;
  • MMA fighters and practitioners with up to 1 year of experience.

ADULT INTERMEDIATE DIVISION

  • Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athletes holding a BLUE BELT;
  • Wrestlers with up to 3 years of experience;
  • Judo athletes holding a GREEN BELT;
  • MMA fighters and practitioners with up to 3 years of experience.

ADULT ADVANCED DIVISION

  • Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athletes holding a PURPLE BELT;
  • Wrestlers with up to 7 years of experience;
  • Judo athletes holding a PURPLE BELT;
  • Professional MMA fighters with up to 5 professional fights.

ADULT EXPERT DIVISION

Designed for high-level athletes and elite competitors.

  • COLLEGIATE WRESTLERS or professional-level wrestlers;

No. Athletes compete in official divisions based on age, weight, and skill level.
What adult skill levels are offered?
Adult skill levels are Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert. Each level is defined by listed Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu rank, wrestling experience, judo rank, and MMA experience.
What age divisions are listed?
Kids divisions include Little Owls 4–5, Owls 6–7, Hawks 8–9, Falcons 10–11, Eagles 12–13, and Teens 14–15. Juvenile is 16–17, Adult is above 18, and Master/Executive divisions range from Master I above 36 through Master VI above 60 years old and up.
