Clackamas has a small but regular BJJ tournament calendar. The Sub League Open returns each March, and Brazilian Top Team Happy Valley runs seasonal in-house tournaments through spring, summer, fall and winter. Grappling X and Submission Underground Grappling also hold events, with some taking place in nearby Portland, including the Grappling X Oregon State Jiu Jitsu Championships.
About half of events offer Gi divisions and a similar share offer No-Gi, while roughly three in ten include kids or absolute divisions. March and November are the busiest months, followed by August.
