We Will be trying to keep all mat areas as busy as we possibly can.
NO EMPTY MATS!
We will try to get everyone to compete as quickly as possible. This is a Family Run Tournament, We are here to give our students a positive outlet in Martial Arts, any Unsportsmanlike conduct, Profanity, or Aggression towards staff or refs, from Parents or Spectators, will result in immediate removal from tournament.
Weigh ins night before at
Brownsville Sports Park Gym 5 - 7 pm
STGT San Benito, 5-6 pm
Weigh ins that day starting at 9:00 am
IF YOU MISS WEIGHT, YOU WILL BE MOVED TO THE NEXT DIVISION.
THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT FOR MISSING WEIGHT OR CHANGE OF DIVISION. IT IS THE COMPETITORS RESPONSIBILITY TO BE UNDER THE WEIGHT THEY REGISTERED FOR.
We will have all Kids and Juveniles start competing at 10 am, all Adults Start at 12 Noon. Please be here one hour before Competition begins. Efficiency is our Goal.
Basic Tournament Rules
2 points = Take downs
2 points = Sweeps
2 points = Knee on Stomach
3 points = Guard Pass
4 points = Back Mount
4 points = Mount
For all kids competitors, SAFETY IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY, all our referees have the authority to stop any match if they see fit. We want to give every child a chance to compete without fear of permanent or severe injury.

Early Bird Registration ENDS Sept. 28th $50 for Each Division
Registration ENDS Oct. 12th $60 for each Division
Late Registration ENDS OCT. 15th $70 for each Division
NO ONSITE DAY OF REGISTRATIONS
Weigh-ins the night before and the day of the tournament are available!
Each School will have 2 Coach Passes Free of Charge.
The last Day to Cancel for a refund will be OCTOBER 10th, 2025. After that we will move the competitor to the closest weight and belt division.

Can I register on the day of the tournament?
No. There is no day-of-tournament or onsite registration.
What are the registration deadlines and prices?
Early Bird Registration ends Sept. 28th and costs $50 for each division. Registration ends Oct. 12th at $60 for each division, and Late Registration ends OCT. 15th at $70 for each division.
When are weigh-ins?
Night-before weigh-ins are at Brownsville Sports Park Gym from 5 - 7 pm and at STGT San Benito from 5-6 pm. Day-of weigh-ins start at 9:00 am.
What happens if a competitor misses weight?
If a competitor misses weight, they will be moved to the next division. There are no refunds on the day of the tournament for missing weight or changing division.
When do competitors start competing?
Kids and Juveniles start competing at 10 am. Adults start at 12 Noon, and competitors are asked to be there one hour before competition begins.
What is the refund cancellation deadline?
The last day to cancel for a refund is OCTOBER 10th, 2025. After that, the competitor will be moved to the closest weight and belt division.
Are coach passes provided?
Yes. Each school will have 2 coach passes free of charge.
What conduct rules apply to parents and spectators?
Unsportsmanlike conduct, profanity, or aggression toward staff or referees from parents or spectators will result in immediate removal from the tournament.
