Description

Start your year on a roll! Join us January 9, 2027, at the University of North Florida for the Jacksonville New Year Open. Rally your team and get ready to test yourself against some of Florida’s top talent.

Whether you’re a seasoned black belt or just starting out, we have a division for you. Compete in both gi and no-gi, showcase your technique, and put your training to the test.

Custom medals will be awarded to the top three athletes in each division. First-place winners in advanced divisions will also take home an NJJF Championship Belt.

Take on the no-gi absolute division for a chance to become Absolute Champion. The winner will qualify for The Ultimate Grappler Finale.

Team points will determine the top three youth teams, the top three adult teams, and the overall team champion. All seven teams will receive an award banner for their academy, and each first-place team will take home a custom NJJF trophy.

You’ve been putting in the work at the gym. Now it’s time to show it on the mat. We’ll see you at the 2027 Jacksonville New Year Open!
