NOTE:

  • YOUTH athletes ages 4-17 years old will compete first. Fight starts at 10am.
  • ADULTS 18 years and older in the afternoon starting around 1:00 pm

WHO CAN COMPETE:

Pride Muay Thai League is intended for all participants β€” children starting from 4 years old, teens, and adults; from beginners to advanced athletes; from any state.

We recommend that athletes traveling from outside South Florida arrive at least one day before the tournament, especially when weigh-ins are scheduled early in the morning.

MIRAMAR β€” TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION

You do not need a special membership to participate in Pride Muay Thai League tournaments.

This is NOT an amateur bout. All divisions are conducted as controlled technical competition, and knockouts are not allowed.

We offer Muay Thai, Kickboxing, K-1, and No Head Contact divisions, allowing athletes of all ages and experience levels to compete in a safe, organized, and positive environment.

Our events test your skills and give you the opportunity to showcase what you've learned in training. Whether you're looking to gain experience, improve your technique, or prepare for future competition, Pride Muay Thai League is the perfect place to grow.

Each participant may have not one but two or three sparring sessions. Depending on the number of suitable opponents.

MEDALS: Beautiful gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to all podium finishers.

Please note that registration ends on Friday December 11 at 10:00 AM or when the first 200 participants sign up!

Don't wait until the last minute or there won't be a place for you to participate.

We do not take late registrations or registrations at the event!

Early Bird Registration before October 1, 2026 - $60;

Normal registration before November 1, 2026 - $75;

Late Registration before December 11, 2026 - $89;

NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON.

Withdrawing from the Pride Muay Thai League tournament is voluntary, we are not responsible for circumstances on your behalf.

Refund will only be issued, if you are the only athlete in your division and we cannot find another match up for you. Refunds will not be issued for injuries or other circumstances. 

We ask that all athletes contact us if they are not attending. Athletes in smaller divisions may need time to be moved if they are left without an opponent.

DIVISIONS

Athletes may register for one of the following divisions:

Muay Thai (Kids, Teens & Adults) Punches, kicks, knees, and clinch. No elbows.

Kickboxing (Kids, Teens & Adults) Punches and kicks only. No knees or clinch.

K-1 (Kids, Teens & Adults) Follows the Kickboxing Rules, with knees and clinch permitted.

No Head Contact for kids 4-11 y.o.

All divisions are conducted as controlled technical competition.

Knockouts are not allowed.

Please review the Rules section for the complete rules of each division before registering.

Rounds length:

* Youth 4-5 year olds: 3, 1 minute rounds.  30 second rest.

* Youth 6-11 year olds: 3, 1 minute rounds.  30 second rest.

* Youth and teens 12-17 year olds: 3, 1.5 minute rounds.   45 second rest.

* Adults: 3, 2 minute rounds.   60 second rest.

If one athlete is clearly superior to another, officials will make the rounds shorter. For example, instead of a 2-minute round, it becomes a 1.5-minute round, etc. The organizer will try to find another match for a more aggressive athlete. The Referee will make every effort to try to catch athletes (especially boys) while they are being hit to prevent injury.


COACHES, CORNERS:

2 free coaches pass per gym/team.

If a gym/team consists of one athlete, one free coaching pass is issued.

If you are competing without a gym affiliation, you must have a corner who will accompany you and assist you between rounds. The corner must purchase an admission ticket as a spectator.

SPECTATORS/PARENTS:

Spectators tickets: $25 (13+), $15 (4-12yo), free for 3yo and under.

Spectator tickets will be available at the door.

A reminder for parents. Your child's participation does not give you a free pass to the competition, parents need to buy an entrance ticket at the cost of a spectator.

Registration and Weigh-Ins:

Registration and Weigh-Ins will be held on tournament day from 8:00 to 9:00 am.

Weight Cutting is Strongly Discouraged!

No competitors can register past 9:00am for kids, teens, and 12:30PM for adults!

Immediately following weighing in we will begin match making and rules meeting.

DO NOT LEAVE THE BUILDING!

WARM UP MATS:

We try our best to always provide a warm up mat area for our competitors during tournaments. In cases which events reach close to or full capacity, we could be restricted from having the floor space to create a warm up area for our competitors

How much are spectator tickets?
Spectator tickets are $25 for ages 13+, $15 for ages 4-12yo, and free for 3yo and under. Spectator tickets will be available at the door, and parents must buy an entrance ticket.
