Description

Start the year on a roll at the 2027 Atlanta New Year Open! Join us on Saturday, January 9, 2027, at the Cobb County Civic Center for a day of Jiu-Jitsu competition.

Whether you’re a seasoned black belt or stepping onto the mats for the first time, there’s a division for you. Athletes of all ages and experience levels can compete in both gi and no-gi.

The top three athletes in each division will earn custom medals, and first-place winners in advanced divisions will take home an NJJF Championship Belt.

Ready for another challenge? The no-gi absolute division brings athletes together regardless of weight class. Its winner will also qualify for The Ultimate Grappler Finale.

Team points will determine the top three youth teams, top three adult teams, and the overall team champion. All seven teams will receive award banners for their academies, and each first-place team will receive a custom NJJF trophy.
