It’s time to step on the mat and showcase your training. Competing is one of the best ways to challenge your technique, test your mindset, and grow as a martial artist. We’re excited to host you at one of the most established tournaments in the sport.

***VIP ticket holders must also buy spectator tickets. Please check in at the weigh-in station to collect your wristband. Only coaches and spectators will be allowed in the mat area. 

MAT AREA RULES

  • Only spectators who purchased a VIP Mat Access may enter the mat area. 
  • All Coaches must sign a NABJJF Code of Conduct Agreement before being allowed in the mat area. If you have not received an agreement, please email tournament@nabjjf.com.
  • Coaches must check in at the weigh-in station to obtain their wristbands. 

WEIGH-IN RULES

  • Kids Divisions: 2-pound weight allowance. Athletes exceeding this allowance will be disqualified. Please register your child in a division they can safely make.
  • Juvenile and Adult Divisions: No weight allowance.
  • Weigh-ins must be done in full competition attire (Gi or No-Gi uniform).

BRACKET FORMAT

  • Double Elimination format for all brackets (Kids, Juvenile, and Adult)
  • 2 competitors: best 2 out of 3
  • 3 competitors: round robin
  • 4+ competitors: double elimination with 3rd place match

IMPORTANT DATES

  • Brackets and Schedule Posted: Oct 8, 2026

No changes to divisions will be allowed after the deadline. Athletes are responsible for reviewing their registration and weight class in Smoothcomp before the division change deadline.
