Weigh-ins start at 09:00 AM.

The first match starts at 09:30 AM.

Fight schedule:

  • Kids and Juvenile Gi
  • Kids and Juvenile No-Gi
  • Adult and Master Gi
  • Adult and Master Absolute Gi
  • Adult and Master No-Gi
  • Adult and Master Absolute No-Gi

Weigh-in:

  • Before his/her first fight, the athlete will check his/her weight with the Uniform (Gi/NoGi).
  • You may weigh in no earlier than 45 minutes before your first fight. If you are competing in both Gi and No-Gi, you must weigh in twice. Please respect these rules so we can avoid queues at the weigh-in.
  • There is only one opportunity to check the weight. If the competitor does not make his/her weight, they will be immediately disqualified. Please make sure that you are in the correct weight division.
  • You can not change divisions, if you do not make your designated division. No changes will be accepted in the tournament day, no refund
  • We recommend that you show up at least 45 min, before your first fight! We also recommend that you continuously keep an eye on the schedule, as changes may occur.
  • Check on Tournament Important Info the official weight measurement used in the Tournament. All athletes should fight and weigh-in with the Gi/NoGi.
  • All athletes must bring a photo ID with them to the competition, you can not compete without one.
  • During the tournament, any mistakes on the brackets that were not correct previous to sign-in check day will lead to immediate disqualification.

Correction Check day:

  • The athletes must make sure that their information is correct by checking the website on the registration listfor their weight, belt, academy, age division, and name information.
  • The brackets will be released 2 days before the tournament.
  • After the registration check day, no changes will be made and no refunds will be given.

  • Each academy receives 2 free coach passes for Copenhagen Open. Register your coach/manager account on Smoothcomp to access brackets, athlete tracking and more.

Black Belts compete for free:

  • All black belts enter both Gi and No-Gi for free. 

Brown and Black belt divisions:

  • We reserve the right to merge the brown and black belt divisions to ensure that athletes get more matches.

Kids & Juniors:

  • Round Robin Format! All kids and junior divisions will be run as round robin

What time do weigh-ins and the first matches start?
Weigh-ins start at 09:00 AM. The first match starts at 09:30 AM.
When can I weigh in?
You may weigh in no earlier than 45 minutes before your first fight. The event recommends showing up at least 45 minutes before your first fight and keeping an eye on the schedule because changes may occur.
How do weigh-ins work if I compete in both Gi and No-Gi?
Athletes weigh in before their first fight with the uniform for that division, Gi or No-Gi. If competing in both Gi and No-Gi, you must weigh in twice.
What happens if I do not make weight?
There is only one opportunity to check weight. If a competitor does not make weight, they will be immediately disqualified, cannot change divisions on tournament day, and will not receive a refund.
What order are divisions scheduled to fight?
The fight schedule is Kids and Juvenile Gi, Kids and Juvenile No-Gi, Adult and Master Gi, Adult and Master Absolute Gi, Adult and Master No-Gi, and Adult and Master Absolute No-Gi.
When will brackets be released?
The brackets will be released 2 days before the tournament. Athletes must check that their registration information is correct on the website.
