Judo Danmark (The Danish Judo Federation), supported by Tokai University in Tokyo, Japan and the European Centre at Vedbæk, Denmark is happy to invite you to participate in the Matsumae Cup & Camp 2027.

Registration to the Danish Cup and Camp is only possible at the entries here on Smoothcomp and a profile for each Athlete is required to do so.

REGISTRATION FOR SECOND CATEGORY:
U15 can double entry in U18.
U18 can double entry in U21 or Senior.
U21 can double entry in Senior.
Veterans can double entry in Senior.
It is not possible for Seniors to register for double entry.
MIXED TEAMS COMPETITION:
1. The Team competition will be conducted Monday after the training sessions.
2. The mixed team must consist of 3 male and 3 female players.
3. All Athlete's born 2012 and older can participate.
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Athlete's from all nationalities, are allowed to enroll in the Matsumae Cup.
2. Danish Athlete's are required to hold valid DJU license. Valid license will be checked.
3. Access to the tatami's in the arena requires a valid accreditation card.
4. White and blue judogi is mandatory for all categories except for Pre Cadets - U15.
5. Backnumber is not mandatory for the participants, but if it is worn, the correct Country and Name on the Backnumber is required. The Backnumber is also required to be whole.
6. Minimum age for all athletes are 12 years (born 2015 or older), for participating at Matsumae Cup and Camp 2027. No exceptions are made. However, we urge all Pre Cadets - U15 to participate, regardless the level or grade of the Athlete.
Important note: The regulations of the judogi specified in the IJF Judogi rules 2025 apply at the Matsumae Cup 2027. You can see the rules in Appendix C here:

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
BE ON TIME for weigh-in. The draw can not be made before all Athlete's have weighed in and we can't publish the brackets until after the draw.
MAKE SURE TO REGISTER IN THE CORRECT WEIGT CATEGORY AND KEEP YOUR WEIGHT. We don't offer the option of changing the weight category at the official weigh-in. In case of any emergency, contact the competition manager.
Pre Cadets - U15, Juniors - U21 and Veterans can weigh in Friday, as well as Saturday.
Cadets - U18 and Seniors can only weigh in Friday.
Athletes with double entry, only need to weigh in Friday. Be sure to advice the official worker at weigh in, when you have double entry, to make sure your weight will be registered for both entries.
After the Cup, we invite you all to participate in the Camp. Please make your registration in the Camp entry here in this Smoothcomp event. Registration at the entry is required for participation in the Camp.

When and where is Matsumae Cup & Camp 2027 held?

How do athletes register?
Registration is only possible through the entries on Smoothcomp. A Smoothcomp profile is required for each Athlete.
What are the registration deadlines?

What are the entry fees?

What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Cancellation before 19.02.2027 gives an 80% refund. Cancellation after 19.02.2027 gives no refund.
Who can register for a second category?
U15 can double entry in U18, U18 can double entry in U21 or Senior, U21 can double entry in Senior, and Veterans can double entry in Senior. Seniors cannot register for double entry.
