Competition Format

Weight Divisions (Gi & No-Gi)

  • Double elimination
  • Minimum 2 matches guaranteed
  • Fight back for 3rd place after one loss

Absolute Divisions

  • Single elimination
  • No second chances
  • High risk. High reward.
  • Please note, you can only sign up for the absolute division if you've signed up for a ordinary weight division.

Ruleset & Categories

  • Weigh ins will be done the DAY BEFORE the event (12/02/2026) until from 18:00 till 20:00 and on the day of the event (10/10/2026) until 11:00.

Registration Deadline & Refund Policy

The last chance to edit your registration is 1st of February, 2026.

There are no refunds. This policy exists to protect the integrity of the event and ensure brackets are built reliably.

Exceptions: If there is no one else in your bracket and you do not wish to merge, you will receive a coupon for the next Caulicup event. If you are unable to compete due to a medical reason, you will also receive a coupon for the next event.

What is the event-day schedule?
Doors open and weigh-ins start at 07:30. First matches are at 09:00, last weigh-in call is at 11:00, weigh-ins close at 12:00, and the event concludes at 18:30.
What competition format is used for Gi and No-Gi weight divisions?
Gi and No-Gi weight divisions use double elimination, with a minimum of 2 matches guaranteed. Athletes can fight back for 3rd place after one loss.
How do absolute divisions work?
Absolute divisions are single elimination. You can only sign up for an absolute division if you have signed up for an ordinary weight division.
What ruleset and weight classes are used?
The event uses the official IBJJF ruleset and IBJJF weight classes for male and female athletes. There is a 500g weight allowance.
How are Gi and No-Gi categories organized?
Gi divisions are registered by belt and age. No-Gi divisions are also registered by belt and age.
What are the registration prices?
Early Bird registration is €55, Regular is €60, and Late Fee is €70. Absolute Division costs €15, and an Additional Division costs +€15.
How much are spectator tickets?
Spectator tickets are €10.
