⏰ SCHEDULE:
     Registration Deadlines:
          Thursday, March 4th - online registration close at midnight EST  
     Tournament Day:
          Saturday, March 6th at the tournament venue
          07:00 - 07:30 - In-Person Weigh-In at competition site
          09:30 - Opening Ceremony followed by Rules Clinic
          10:00 - Matches begin
          16:00 - Award Ceremony (or as soon as competition ends)

💻 REGISTRATION & FEES:
     Online Registration via Smoothcomp ONLY. No walk-ups or mail-ins accepted.

• $70 until December 1st, 2026
• $85 until January 20th, 2027
• $100 until February 17th, 2027
• $175 until March 4th, 2027(registration will be closed on March 4 at midnight EST)

     ATHLETES
          All Athletes must go to smoothcomp.com and create a free SmoothComp account /athlete profile. Once completed, athletes can register for the event.

⚖️ OFFICIAL WEIGHT CLASSES:  

    🔸 Kids (boys and girls):

• Ages 6 and Under: Light | Medium | Heavy
• Ages 7 - 8: Light | Medium | Heavy
• Ages 9-10: Light | Medium | Heavy
• Ages 11-13: -38kg, -42kg, -47kg, -52kg, +52kg

    🔸 Cadets (14-16):

• -53kg, -58kg, -64kg, -71kg, -79kg, -88kg, +88kg

    🔸 Adults Men (17+) | Masters:

• -58kg, -64kg, -71kg, -79kg, -88kg, -98kg, +98kg

    🔸 Adults Women (17+) | Masters:

• -50kg, -54kg, -59kg, -65kg, -72kg, -80kg, +80kg

    🔸 Combat SAMBO

• -58kg, -64kg, -71kg, -79kg, -88kg, -98kg, +98kg

* Please note that when registering competitors for events, their age classification will be determined by year of birth, not actual age on competition day.
     Example: 2027 − 2017 = 10 → athlete competes in 9–10 division

⏱️ MATCH TIMES:
     🔹 Kids - 3 Minutes / 2 Minutes Golden Score / Ref Decision
     🔹 Cadets - 4 Minutes / 2 Minutes Golden Score / Ref Decision
     🔹 Adults - 5 Minutes / 2 Minutes Golden Score / Ref Decision
     🔹 Masters - 4 Minute / Ref Decision
     🔹 Combat Sambo - 4 Minutes / Ref Decision

🩺ELIGIBILITY:
     Any Sambist may compete.
     No Organization Membership Required
     * All participants must have a valid medical insurance, and present proof if requested.

📖RULES:
Modified FIAS rules will be used.
Submissions:
     - Arm Bars / Leg Locks allowed (11yo and older).
     - Chokes allowed in Cadets & Adults divisions upon mutual agreement of the competitors.
🥋Uniform:
     - We ask that all competitors have a properly fit red/blue Sambo Gi and Sambo shoes (shoes are optional in kids divisions).

🔄BRACKETING & SCORING:
     Round Robin For Divisions of 4 and fewer; Modified Double Elimination for all others.

🏆AWARDS:
     🥇🥈🥉- Medals and Award Certificates for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place

📺📲 TOURNAMENT SYSTEM:
     Online Registration, Bracketing, Scoring, Live Streaming and Results Will Be Run On Smoothcomp Event Page.
