Smoothcomp Software Workshop
Learn how to confidently use Smoothcomp, the official event-management platform used across modern judo competitions.
You’ll learn how to:
- Set up tournaments, divisions, and registration
- Manage brackets, weigh-ins, and scheduling
- Run matches smoothly on competition day
- Generate results, rankings, and reports
Ideal for tournament directors, referees, coaches, and club administrators, Practical, step-by-step instruction with real examples.

- Open to registrants with current USJF membership

USJF Self-Defense Instructor Certification
This certification workshop prepares instructors to safely and effectively teach USJF-approved self-defense program.
Workshop focus:
- Instructor duty of care and risk management
- Teaching progressions: static → dynamic → scenario-based
- Psychological awareness, prevention, and communication
- Safe delivery of physical self-defense skills
Earn official USJF Self-Defense Instructor Certification

- Open to registrants with current USJF membership

USJF Coach High Performance Clinic
A high-level clinic for coaches working with national and international athletes.
Clinic highlights:
- International coaching standards and expectations
- Athlete preparation for elite and international competition
- Training structure, periodization, and performance analysis
- Leadership, communication, and coach conduct at major events
In collaboration with USA Judo, USJF will send one coach to join the U.S. Team delegation at an IJF international competition and four-day training camp in Prague, and one coach to an IJF international competition and four-day training camp in Hungary in July 2026. This program is designed for coaches pursuing international team roles, with an emphasis on excellence, professionalism, and long-term athlete development.

- Open to registrants with current USJF membership with current USJF Coach Certification
