Great facilities and equipment. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Coach Jeff has helped me make a lot of progress with striking. Coach Hollywood has had a huge impact on my son in the BJJ program. You can train hard here but not have to deal with ego problems. It's a great environment for whatever your goals may be.

Don’t be intimidated by the fact that this is a fight gym! The coaches and clientele here may look like killers, but once you get to know them, they become the best training partners you could ever ask for. They are caring, patient, kind, and knowledgeable and will quickly become the best support structure for anyone looking to learn a new skill, try a new sport, or begin a personal fitness journey. If you put in the time and effort here, you will not only earn a stronger, faster, better-looking, and more flexible body, you’ll also come out with a stronger mind and a deeper understanding of how to push yourself to be disciplined about your fitness goals. You do not have to have the goal of becoming a professional fighter to be successful here either. I am not a competitive fighter by any means, but the best and not so obvious part of the training offered here is that I’m not just earning the body of a fighter, I am also developing the mindset and discipline of a fighter. This has proven to be the much more powerful tool applied to my life. Try out a few classes and stick it out for a few weeks/months/years. With some effort and discipline on your part you won't be disappointed with the results you get. -Ro Sanchez Update: 3/13/23 uploaded photos of my results. From fat to fit. If you’re still thinking about making a change come in and talk to coach Josh Denzer. He had a huge part in my transformation thus far. If you want the body of a fighter you have to train with the mindset of one. So if you’re in the situation I was in (late thirties, out of shape, out of options, feeling like it’s over…) come in and let’s get to work. The gym staff here will help you reach your goals!!!

I was only able to attend one class before I realized my schedule was just not going to work for it. When I decided to cancel though they were extremely prompt and professional. Probably the best gym I’ve ever been to just on the service/front end, super nice and engaging. Wish I could have made it work.

Wonderful experience training here. Was invited by a friend and had a blast learning and rolling. Walked out with a fractured or broken rib, but it was totally worth it. 🤣

LOVE this gym! I've been with VCSA for three years now and couldn't imagine training anywhere else. The coaches here put a ton of care and attention into working with you on your goals. This place WEARS ME OUT in the best possible way. Not only have I learned a lot of technical knowledge but the way I feel physically and mentally has changed. I am constantly encouraged by the coaches. Shannon has built an amazing place for self improvement. Come give it a try!
