    I can’t say enough good things about this gym! Professor Leroy has been such a huge part of my daughter’s Jiu Jitsu journey. He’s not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also so playful, patient, and genuinely makes learning fun for the kids. My daughter has grown in skill, confidence, and passion thanks to him! When he announced they were starting a women-only class, I was so excited! I’ve always wanted to try Jiu Jitsu, but honestly, the idea of grappling with strangers—especially men—made me really anxious. Enter Coach Sarah—she is AMAZING! She’s like the perfect female version of Professor Leroy: fun, so patient, so positive, and incredibly good at breaking down every technique step-by-step. I absolutely love going to her classes! The environment they’ve built here is something special. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like family. It’s welcoming, supportive, and full of people who genuinely care about each other’s growth. This is hands down one of the best gyms we’ve ever been part of. If you’re even thinking about joining, stop thinking and just do it. You’ll be so glad you did!

    My family has been training with Leroy for nearly 3 years. He’s a wonderful coach and has passion when teaching his classes. My son has competed in a few competitions, and Leroy was right there to support and encourage him. Would recommend for any age at any skill level.

    For those looking for a dedicated, energetic, and inspiring Jiu Jitsu school and professor than look no farther than Texas Made and Leroy. The environment is welcoming. The rolling is competitive. And the instruction is precise. I have only been training for a few months, but the skills and knowledge leroy passes on benefits his students both on and off of the mat.
