My boyfriend and I stopped in for a Labor Day open mat while vacationing in Colorado. The mat was packed and we had some great rolls with everyone. The owner Scott is amazing and his whole crew are salt of the earth people. This is exactly the type of facility and the people we hope to train with while visiting other gyms. 10/10 recommend and we will be back. Thank you Evergreen for the hospitality and the kindness!!

This is the only place you should even consider training. Scott is far and above the best martial arts instructor I have ever had. Whether you are looking for BJJ, MMA, kickboxing.....this is the place to be. All of the coaches are amazing and the people that train here? Top notch. Seriously, just come check it out. You won't want to go anywhere else.

Scott and all the instructors at this gym are fantastic. The level of jiu jitsu at this gym is great for beginners and advanced students. You won't regret checking this gym out whether you're just starting out or been training for years.

I have been practicing martial arts for over 19 years. Scott is the best Jiu Jitsu instructor I have had the pleasure to work with. Expect to learn practical self defense techniques and get a great workout while having fun. It is a family friendly atmosphere and I even started to bring my 4 year old to the kids class - he loves it!

This is a great place to train BJJ. I’m splitting my time between Austin and Evergreen, so was looking for a place to train local. Evergreen BJJ was recommended by a black belt I train with in Austin. I’ve done privates with the owner and head coach, Scott Miller, as well as attended some of the classes. Great place to train BJJ led by a fantastic coach and owner. Highly recommended.

I stopped in to train while traveling through the area and I'd highly recommend this gym. It's obvious that Scott has built a good community- everyone was quite welcoming, there's plenty of skill on the mats, and they went out of their way to give me some valuable feedback. Great experience.

Whether you're a day-one or decade-three athlete, Evergreen Jiu Jitsu features an ideal culture, facilitating an optimal community for people interested in improving themselves mentally and physically. We're deeply fortunate to have such a high-level, internationally recognized figure within the sport of grappling, here, in Evergreen. As a high school / university-level biology instructor, I can affirm that Scott not only possesses elite athletic skill, but also harnesses strong (and rare) instructional methods, from an educational perspective. If you're in the Foothills and looking to explore functional martial arts, this is a can't-miss!

I’ve had past coaches/instructors that were condescending or had egos…Scott is the exact opposite. He is very knowledgeable and I highly recommend him to anyone in the area that is interested.
