Wonderful owners who are passionate about what they do and are very uplifting and encouraging to everyone who attends. My son started training with Real Fighters as soon as he was old enough and it has absolutely shaped him mentally and much as physically. Big change in his attitude and his confidence...plus it's been a great way for him to get and stay in shape (not to mention he's got some serious moves)! We love Real Fighters.

This is the best gym you can find in all of Kentucky, it doesn't matter if you don't know about combat sports in Real fighters, they will teach you all levels and if you speak Spanish and don't know how to speak English, Eric is fluent in Spanish.

I’ve been taking Muay Thai here for about 6 months. Hadn’t ever done any combat sport before in my life. Coaches Eric and Tony are excellent, getting you started with the basics and ensuring proper technique before teaching new things, but always keeping it interesting too. I’ve learned so much and have thoroughly enjoyed every class. I’d go every day if I could. Highly recommend, especially for beginners. You won’t feel intimidated or uncomfortable—all are welcome and it’s a very friendly environment. I was particularly nervous about attending as a female in a primarily male-dominated sport but everyone here is very respectful. It’s been great for my physical and mental health. Can’t say enough good things.

I absolutely love this gym. It has become my second home! Lindsey and Eric make sure that you are not only guided and instructed properly but they make sure you know you are part of the family. They are very encouraging, welcoming, knowledgeable, and always get you to do your best no matter what level you are currently at. The gym is very inclusive and welcoming to all shapes and sizes to help you reach your goals and beyond.

Eric and Lindsay are the greatest people ever. Throughout the pandemic they both did all they could to accommodate the gym members while following the CDC and state guidelines. I've been a member of the gym for years and can't wait to join the family again. If you're new to martial arts or have decades of experience this is a great place to train. Show up ready to learn and work hard and you will leave the gym a better person than when you started!

Awesome gym! Been attending the fitness/bag class here fore several years and love it! It's a good workout that's a little different each time so it stays engaging. Even in the non-contact fitness class, the instructors take time to teach proper technique. Great supportive, welcoming gym family environment no matter the skill level. Highly recommend!

An actual class with professional fighters guiding the training leading to fitness and professional comprehension behind the methods of kickboxing. If you want a participation trophy and no results, go to 8 round or what-the-hell ever. If you want to see actual progression taught by ACTUAL fighters, go see Eric and fam.

This is by far the best fitness kickboxing workout I've ever experienced, and I've been to the other chain gyms. Everyone who walks in the door is treated the same and trained the same. You'll learn kickboxing from people with ring experience, who value and respect the sport. If you want a great workout and a great gym family, go to Real Fighters.

This place is awesome! I have been a member for almost a year and from day one felt like a friend and now like family. Not only is the teaching exceptional and coming from world class instructors that have been proven in the ring all over the world, but the atmosphere is very friendly and inviting. On my first class it felt like home. I consider myself very lucky to have found this gym. The staff and other students are some of the best people I have ever met. Coaches Eric and Lindsay Haycraft are subject matter experts and work around your skill and fitness level. I used to hate the daily grind of exercise and this is the complete opposite, I enjoy every class and always look forward to the next one. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

They both have magnificent experience with the sport if you are looking for A level training, and they, and all their instructors, spend time with the cardio class regulars just as much as the fight team. Would Highly recommend Real Fighters Gym to anyone looking to learn Kickboxing/Muay Thai. Eric teaches an excellent program and spends time individually with each student throughout the class improving and encouraging their progress. He let's you go at your own pace but pushes you to do better each time. The workouts are intense and fun! It takes a few classes to learn the core moves but each session is a little bit different to keep it interesting! You can purchase all necessary gear onsite and go as often or as little as you like. They even encourage you to watch a class before committing to make sure it's something you want to do! My experience with this gym has been overwhelmingly positive.

If you're interested in just getting some exercise, while learning some basic skills that you can really apply to self-defense, then this is your gym. If you're looking to take your skills up a level or three, then this is the place to work out with other fighters. If you're looking to really develop skills, and live in Louisville, then you are in luck. Truly, I wish an instructor this good was around when I was growing up. I was in my 30s when I found Eric Haycraft's gym and the skills I picked up have made me more confident than the years training in tae kwon do. This is the real deal.

Real Fighters Gym is by far the best kickboxing/Dutch Muay Thai gym in the state of KY, let alone just in Louisville. Whether you want to lose weight, learn Dutch Muay Thai as a hobby or wanting to become a serious fighter, you will be provided the attention needed and detailed instructions from top notch trainers. If you’re a guy wanting to sweat off some pounds or learn kickboxing, there is no other place to go. If you’re a woman wanting to lose weight or learn kickboxing, too, but feeling a little intimidated, there is no need to worry. When you walk in, you will see plenty of other women training, too. Not only will you lose weight, look and feel better, but you will also learn legitimate self defense. Come and see for yourself. You won’t regret it.
