I recently visited Sol jiu jitsu. I travel a lot and visit many different gyms. Sol jiu jitsu is a very welcoming and friendly place to train. The instructors are knowledgeable and friendly. I enjoyed my visit and know where I will train the next time I’m in Phoenix.

Stopped in for 2 weeks while visiting and had a great experience. Great atmosphere and plenty of mat room. Austin is a great teacher and answered several of my questions by going in depth and showing me what he was talking about. I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in town.

I am coming up on 2 years at this school! It was one of the best decisions I ever made. Professor Austin since day one has always pushed me and really emphasized opening my mind and never to concede. My form has really catapulted into something else being here. Staff is amazing! They really take the time to work with you and answer your questions. The kids classes is great for my little ones. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and caring. If your new or interested in training with one of the best on the planet. Sol is the place for you. If you are thinking about it, just do it. It really will be one of the best choices of your life.

Sol BJJ is one of if not the best place to train. The professor, Austin Baker, provides excellent guidance on BJJ techniques. He is always willing to help with any questions about jiu jitsu that students may have. Everyone at Sol is welcoming and friendly, making it fun to train on the mats. I highly recommend Sol BJJ, whether you are starting as a white belt or a seasoned brown belt.

I started training a little under a year and half ago, It’s a super positive environment with the best professors anyone could ask for. Professor Austin and coach Fred have helped me grow in so many different ways. Professor Austin is ranked #1 competitor in Arizona and I’m so Blessed to train here!

This will be my second year training at Sol BJJ and fifth year training BJJ as a whole. Sol fosters a healthy, positive, and welcoming culture. Not only does the quality and engaging instruction standout, but so does the community. The community at this gym is one where you feel uplifted and comfortable every day. The gym is also the largest I have ever seen with a ton of mat space and is extremely clean.

Great atmosphere and class structure. I've spent time at other schools before signing up at Sol. The curriculum and learning experience is highly beneficial to new and experienced students.

I have been training here for almost two years, and my daughter has been training here for almost a year. The instruction, mentorship, coaching and overall attitude here is second to none. As an adult, you will get in shape, learn fundamentals, and learn to think decide and act while under pressure. Most importantly, you will learn the necessary skills to protect and defend your family. Your child will receive excellent mentorship and also learn the skills necessary to defense themselves. Sign yourself and your child up today, you will not regret it.

Big and clean gym with great instruction from coach Fred. Appreciated the focus on positional sparring to better learn and implement what we learned in class.

Great gym, great people! Came in from out of town and was treated like a long time member. Professor Austin provided great instruction and couldn’t have been more welcoming. If you’re in the Phoenix area be sure to check out SOL BJJ.

I’ve loved my experience here so far. I’ve been to a couple classes now and Professor Austin is absolutely top notch. Seems to always go above and beyond with any student that has questions or something they’re struggling with. He seems to truly care about each students progress and journey. Love Sol

Austin is the best black belt competitor in AZ! He also runs an amazing program and carries himself with the highest integrity on and off the mat. My JiuJitsu has leveled up so much since I started training here.

Really great ppl. I walked in today for open mat. Austin was welcoming and easy going. He was willing to roll with me and take it easy on a guy who clearly was at a lesser skill level yet give me a good little workout. The facility is spotless. I am very excited to train there for the years to come.

I have known and trained with Professor Austin since he was a purple belt. He is one of the kindest, most respectful Jiu-Jitsu practitioners I’ve ever had the chance to train with. Anyone would be lucky to train with him. Visit, sign up, and train!

Austin is a humble world-class BJJ competitor and a great instructor. The school is brand new and the mat area is massive. There are also kids classes available which they seem to really enjoy. Classes are fairly small still because the school is so new so it's almost like getting the attention you would get during a private lesson which I love. I imagine this won't last too long as this school is bound to grow quickly. All the students are also very humble and welcoming. I would highly recommend dropping in for a trial class.
