Wow, I attended a self defence group session and Hannah and Kieran and they were outstanding. They were amazing with us and tailored the session to us as individuals. I came out that session with much more confidence In knowing how to get out of tough situations. Highly recommend. Thank you

Attended a private self-defence class led by Kieran and Hannah this weekend. Honestly didn’t know what to expect from the class as we were all complete beginners but it was such a fantastic experience. Both were great and worked at our pace. They broke down each move, were very attentive and made sure we were all safe. Came away from the class with some real life skills and the confidence to know how to keep safe. Would 100% recommend!!

Myself and a few of my team mates from Old Leamingtions rugby club attended a private session this Saturday for a self defence class. I cant recommend Hannah and Kieran highly enough. They took their time to break every move down and went around to us individually to check we was all ok. I was worried that I may not be able to do the class as I thought I’d get triggered with the moves. But they instruct in such away that I felt at ease and safe and empowered. Hannah showed me some different moves when I started to get overwhelmed and really tailored her teaching for all of us, which I’m really grateful for. They are both amazing instructors. We will definitely be back. Ladies if you are looking for a new fitness hobby, that makes you feel empowered and confident….. this class is for you. Thank you again Hannah and Kieran. 🙂

Starkey MMA is the most welcoming and friendly environment you’ll ever walk in to as a first timer (or experienced) at mixed martial arts. The head coach kieron is not only experienced in what he teaches but he also has the accolades to back that up. Kieron still competes himself to show his students how and not just teach which I found important and inspiring. He is supported by Hannah who is not only experienced in MMA herself but also a trained physio and is a great consultant when injuries and issues arise. Both kieron and Hannah are not only friendly, respectful and warm people but they also work well together and offer a level of comedy at times which makes the place feel relaxed. I would obviously recommend the club given my review above but I would also like to say that they offer competitive prices and various packages to suit your personal level of commitment to training.
