EXCEPTIONALLY UNMATCHED!!!! This place is worth every penny!!! 100% Absolutely happy with COBRA. The best classes you can get for your kids and adults as well.. the diversity of classes and the in-depth experienced knowledge is hands down the best team you can ever ask for!!! They really care about educating on self defense and martial arts!! Plus the fact that it’s Korean martial arts makes it legit!!! Not like those other places that say they care but only want the $$$… COME ON OVER TO COBRA, you’ll never want to try any other place/you’ll never want to leave them either!

Mark was a fantastic instructor and gave me and my fiancé lots of great information on firearm safety not only for your carry, but for self defense as well. He was very patient and informative for our entire group. If you’re looking to take a class, this is the one!

My daughter was a part of their after-school program during 2nd grade. They were fantastic with pick up from the schools and allowing them to have homework time in addition to the martial arts and self defense training. They also allowed her and I to participate in a self defense training seminar together. Even then she remembered exactly what she should do if she's attacked. Mark, Tom, Lisa and so many others were so helpful with my daughter. They were always approachable and helpful whenever I needed something. Even when I was a momma bear worried about her daughter. They were understanding and kind enough to ease my fears. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I took the 10 week COBRA self defense course and it was absolutely amazing. We learned so much about how to protect ourselves in various situations. The instructors give good information of how to respond if someone attempts to attack you with hands on demonstrations and practice sessions that are done repeatedly so it becomes second nature. I definitely recommend these classes to everyone in our day and age.

COBRA self defense has been a great asset to the real estate agents in outr area, it can be daunting showing a house to a stranger without knowing how to defend yourself if something goes awry. COBRA is a great place to get self defense know how.

I've done a lot of research over the years on different self-defense programs and have found COBRA to be the best for not only beginners but advanced people trying to learn practical self-defense. The courses are efficient and well put together. Would definitely recommend!

I took my first COBRA Self Defense 10 week academy with Chris back in 2005. It was a life changing experience. I helped out with future classes and back in 2014 I got certified as an instructor. I have taught multiple 10 and 5 week academies, one day camps, Girl Scout private training and active shooter response seminars and realtor specific self defense under the C.O.B.R.A. Self Defense System. It changed my life and continue to this day to change other people’s lives. I just recently took an additional class that Chris and Mark offer to get my concealed carry certification. I highly recommend this program to anyone that wants to learn some hands on self defense that actually works!! Thank you Chris and thank you Mark.

I did a LOT of research into real life self defence. I didn't want martial arts. I wanted to learn skills that a woman would need to defend herself if she were approached or attacked. I found COBRA. I did all the training. All the reading. What you are taught as a participant with COBRA is life saving in every aspect. Just learning to be more aware of your surroundings can save your life let alone everything else you learn. Highly recommended!!!

As a former law enforcement officer I have found the C.O.B.R.A. self defense training to be as close to academy training as you can get. I love this program ❣️👮💙

I was looking for self defense classes but I didn't want to take a class that was belt and sport oriented I wanted to be able to not be emotional and able to defend myself if I have to and not let fear and panic take over. I have taken just two classes along with the kickboxing and already I have much more confidence and I can honestly say this is by far the the most intense training I have ever had. This is not a sport this is survival and so much more than I ever expected. I am confident that by the time I graduate this program after 10 weeks that I will be the guy who goes home should something unfortunate ever happen which I hope it never does but I will be ready !! COBRA is life changing and the instructors truly care about us and take the time to work with each one of us to make sure we are all on the same page. If you have ever wanted to gain more confidence and learn how to live another day then COBRA will teach you how to be a survivor and not a powerless scared victim !!!

Mr. Chris Sutton came to First Christian Academy to train our staff on protecting ourselves and our students from an armed intruder. The training was very helpful and our staff is still discussing the strategies that he presented. Thank you, Mr. Sutton and Cobra Self Defense Systems. We highly recommend this training for other schools and businesses.

I'm so happy I decided to take this class. The skills taught are simple but practical and extremely effective. I think the best part is that they reenact real life scenarios that make your adrenaline run and teach you what to do and what not to do. It helps you to remain calm and make smart decisions in what could be a life or death situation. The instructor and staff are great! I highly recommend everyone taking this class.

Great group of people consider it a second home. Great work out with kick-box and the fitness classes. Cobra is a must for anyone who needs to learn some self defense. Come in try and class and most definitely do a one day camp with Tom to try out COBRA- you'll stay for the 10 week course. Great place!

I'm over half way thru this 10 week class and I can say I feel pretty good about If I was ever attacked that I would have a standing chance. The trainers are so patient and really make sure you understand why you are doing something and how to apply each technique correctly. I look forward to each week when it is class time. As a single female I really wanted something I could use in real life situations. Tom, Chuck, Julie, and the whole team are awesome. They really care about your safety, are willing to answer questions after class and just commit to each and every person. Don't look for them to go easy on you! Thank you all for the confidence!

I have been a member of Chris Sutton's Fitness Kickboxing since August 2016 and I have to say this has been what I have been missing. I moved from Atlanta and use to climb Kennesaw and Stone Mountain on a regular. Since moving here this has been the only thing that has given me the rush and satisfaction equal to the climbs

This course is so valuable to any person who wants to protect themselves and their loved ones. The trainers are very professional, supportive and they treat you like family. I signed up for the 10 week course and have loved every minute of it. You would be well advised to sign up for the course, and you can learn to protect yourself too. You protect your health with Health Insurance, why not protect your life with COBRA Self Defense Systems?

The instructors are friendly and have patience (and a good sense of humor!) - which is really nice to find. They take the time to show you how to do a move correctly and answer questions which has been very helpful and made for an enjoyable (and educational!) experience.

By far the most logical self defense fighting system a person should know for in the streets, there are no rules! It's only been 1 weekend boot camp and now just a few weeks of the 10 Cobra Course and I'm feeling confident enough to know what to do if I was going to have to defend myself from a bad guy!!! Thank you Tom and team for educating me, us, on the true self defense course that is the REAL deal out in the real world. Karate is great for learning the art, COBRA is the true mix of martial arts that will save your life! Hat's off and here's a strong finish to the Matrix!

Seriously the greatest class ever!! I learned so much in just one class. I always thought the only way I can protect myself and my family is with a physical weapon, but after taking this class, I learned several different ways to do so. I definitely think this class should be mandatory in all schools. Everyone should take at least one class, it could save your life and your loved ones.

I'm half way through the 10 week course and have retained so much knowledge about quick easy moves that could save my life. They also had a Saturday self defense class for kids which I took advantage of for my 10 year old son. We practice at home every chance we get. The instructors are very knowledgeable and feel like family to me. Would love to take more classes after my 10 week training is up.

The COBRA self defense class has been really informative and educational. We road trip multiple states in the summer and this class has given me a piece of mind that I would be able to defend myself and my boys if needed while on the road or anywhere. There's also a child self defense class my boys are wanting to take that I heard was really good!

My journey into self defense started about 7 years ago. While taking fitness kickboxing classes at Chris Suttons Martial Arts and Fitness i was introduced to COBRA. This is the only reality based program i had seen and i had to try it. WOW, everything i thought would work in a bad situation was wrong and thanks to the scenario based approach i quickly learned how to properly defend my family and myself and to discard those faulty ideas i had. Thanks Chris.

C.O.B.R.A Self Defense is about reality self defense...How to recognize a threat, how to avoid a potential threat, and how to take action if you need to. You learn escape and defense techniques that progressively build awareness and confidence. Starting with a diverse class of men and women of all ages and abilities, the instructors quickly put everyone a ease, and former C.O.B.R.A graduates assist at every class. This isn't a hang around the gym and BS program, you're busy learning and doing the entire class. This is a great program that just might save your life.

I am Sandy and I am currently in COBRA Defence Class 68. I have had orientation and one class and already I feel more safe and confident. I am a 57 year old lady growing up in the burbs never even saw a crime being committed until March last year. I have physical issues they make adjustments for any physical issues and show you tactics that will work for you. Before today would be easy prey to a criminal. Just the punches we learned and the real life scenario we did class two make me feel safer already. Like they say "They are not training us to kill they are teaching us how, if confronted by violence we are the one that go home" I would recommend this class for everyone. I feel that by my taking this 10 week class I have made an investment in me and my ability not to be a victim and to come home. By the way I got a passing score on my first real life scenario.

So far I have been to the first 2 classes and within the first 10 minutes of hearing Chris Sutton speak, I knew I made one of the best decisions in my life by signing up. He has the training and the experience to teach us how to feel confident walking down the street and be ready for any scenario. I am so excited to see what the rest of the academy has in store and I can't recommend it enough to all my friends and family. My favorite part is the myth busting. What I have been thinking for as long as I can remember has be wrong all along and I am so thankful I haven't been in a situation to find out the hard way. He gives you the REAL advice that will work.

The very first class was amazing. I learned that I had been living with a false sense of security, and that the psychology of a crime can be even scarier than the crime itself. COBRA has taught me that it is I, and only I, that can keep myself safe, informed and vigilant. It has taught me not depend on anyone else for my own safety and security. As a woman it is very empowering! I recommend this course to ANYONE wanting to know just how to keep themselves, and the ones they love, safe and informed.

This class is a game changer! Chris's no nonsense, hands on teaching philosophy is spot on. The skills and techniques he teaches you are practical and work! I can't imagine anyone that this class would not benefit. In a crisis situation you will not rise to the level of the occasion, but rather default to your level of preparation. This class will change your " Default Setting" and perhaps save your Life!

I enrolled in this self defense program because I had always wanted to learn self defense in case a situation would arise that would force me to fight for my well-being. In a summer camp I once went to they taught me a little of krav maga and it got me interested in continuing to learn this form of fighting. Instead my mom suggested C.O.B.R.A, at first I thought that krav maga would be so much better but I would give C.O.B.R.A a shot anyways. I am close to finishing my 10 week class and already wanting to do it again, I am so glad I gave it a shot. Now I have stored some valuable tools in my "piggy bank" that I can use, thank you Chris Suton and all the cobra instructors. It has been a joy taking this class and I am already starting to recommend it to friends and family.

EMPOWERING! Chris Sutton is a very motivational instructor. This is a set of life skills every person should be equipped with. Fast paced and hands on training. The class feels very energized and personalized to meet a variety of situations. Well worth the drive to attend.

I just finished the orientation for the COBRA Self Defense class an hour ago, and it's still on my mind. The first thing I did when it was finished was call my Mom and tell her everything I had learned! I already feel more prepared for attackers just from the introduction. Chris Sutton, the instructor, opened my eyes to ways of lessening your risk of being attacked, just by being aware of the time and your surroundings. In just one class I feel safer and more prepared for the real world. I can't wait for tomorrow's class!

Very good classes. They teach real world applications for fighting and focus on situational fighting, rather than forms. The fitness class is lively, the mma class keeps you on your toes, and the C.O.B.R.A. class will keep you safe. Definitely worth, at least, a try.

Chris Sutton traveled to Arlington, Texas to teach the "One Day Survival Seminar" on June 2, 2012. Most people go through life without much thought about their personal safety, or what they would do in a bad situation. This seminar is the real deal, and opened my eyes. I got my black belt in 1982, but always felt that martial arts were just that: an art. Martial arts is a great foundation, but I was looking for a reality based training, and COBRA delivers. It teaches a psychological approach to self-defense, which is essential. Then there is time to practice some simple proven techniques. I highly recommend this course for everyone. I am eager to take the 10 week academy next.

A lot of decent self defense techniques but there seems to be a lot of flare without an equal amount of substance with this company. Was ready to become an instructor through them until I saw the rediculous prices on memberships that they charge. Anything that says "turn key business" is a scam.
